Yep. Would be such a huge blow to this team, especially now.

Just when Artem was really starting to turn into a player. I would say the odds are not in our favor on this one, especially if it was hurt bad enough they took him off and sent him to MRI.

I dont have any windows higher than one story. I'll have to pull an Ike

No matter what you have to figure he would be out a week or so. If they need to get an MRI it is either super-swollen(not getting it into a skate/stand on it) or broken(out a lot longer than a week).

Really hope it's not serious...can't stress enough how bad this will be for EVERYTHING. Our team, his development...everything.

I would think it's all for precaution in case it is broken.

Hopefully Anisimov is alright. He was looking great this season. He was really playing well between Callahan and Dubinsky. If he is injured then you have to think that we move Dubinsky to center. That loss would really hurt us.

Hardly. I simply pointed out he had more success. But keep thinking you know everything you're really good at it.

Stupid Rozival, breaking his ankle! Boo! Boo!

The nice thing about this season: I'm not even upset after a loss. We've already overacheived, and actually could've won that game with Hank in net.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Hopefully AA is OK, not because I'm pinning hopes on this being a BIG season, I just want the kid to be OK. Rosi too.

When I watch the game I find myself waiting for Dubinsky and Cally to get on the ice. The rest of the shifts I just want to survive until they get back on.

I will be really bummed if Anisimov has a broken ankle.

I wouldn't say we overachieved...if we can maintain a decent W/L ratio without Gaborik then I won't be disappointed with the losses in hindsight.

Can't help but feel disappointed losing to Atlanta, especially considering we apparently played a bad game of hockey (didn't get to catch the game on tv).

Positives, though: glad to see Boyle getting another goal and Cally with a 2 point night. I would not have a problem with Boyle being moved up to 1st or 2nd line center for now if AA has to sit.

Because he did have better players. That's a joke if you say he didn't.

Because I'm in favor of Tortorella more than you are and I know think I know everything? I see you get sensitive arguing.

What do you know more than what I may not know? Torts sucks as a coach?

Once again goalie gets run & NYR do nothing. Thorburn knocks down Biron behind the goal and no NYR reacts, pathetic.

Boogaard was on the ice @ the time & he was visibly gassed, but that's the type of play I want to see someone take the stupid 17 minute instigator package for. What made it worse was the Thrashers scored less than a minute later

We've probably been the most fortunate team as far as injury's go post-lockout. Some of us knew this was coming.

Staal should be a healthy scratch next time he decides to pokecheck instead of taking the body.

Eminger is fine as a 6th/7th defenseman

Rozsival is a penalty machine and has moments where he forgets to play proper defense.

Girardi is good, but soooo slooow.

Del Zotto is fine and is still getting better.
Sauer missed last game because of soreness. I imagine he wasn't ready (or as ready as Eminger) to go tonight.

Gilroy wasn't bad tonight. He hasn't been terrible this year. But he hasn't been the least bit impressive either.

Staal had a rought night. **** happens. Fortunately it doesn't happen often.

Eminger isn't fine as a #6. He's a #7 on a mediocre team that's desperate for a veteran Dman.

Rozsival has played very well this year. Get your head out of your ass and actually watch him play.

If Girardi was faster, you would be whining about the color of his stick, or the way he styles his hair, or the layout of his house. Give me a break dude. There have been plenty of exceptional dmen in this league that didn't have speed in their game.

MDZ has been fine this year? He's been extremely inconsistent (Something I'm willing to deal with. I have no problems with young guys going through some growing pains)..

Del Zotto is a young player that the rangers are asking a lot of. He really shouldn't be in a top 4 role but the rangers are so thin there isn't a better option. Your just going to have to live with his growing pains.

Biron was awful he let in a couple of softies.

Seriously, suddenly nobody remembers the two games before where he played fantastic defense.

I expect the same thing to happen with Rosy- once he teeters off a little bit the fan base will be all over him.

That's easy to say considering he had Jagr but he got more out of the players he had than Torts has been able to.

That statement was made in regards to the fact you made an assumption about me...

Like I said wasn't bad mouthing Torts, was simply pointing out the fact that Renney had more success.

Don't act like you weren't being biased and bashing Renney and then get pissy when someone disagrees with your assessment. I don't argue the details I look at results and the truth is Renney had better results than Torts has had with the Rangers.

Truth.

The best part about his post was he says MDZ has been fine when he has arguably been our worst d-man this year (still love him though)

Are they worried about ligament damage with AA? They'd use an X-Ray for a break. MRI is for soft tissue.
