Anyone notice how well Voros played with the twins during that last shift? He seems to naturally cycle the puck well. If Beleskey is out a game I wouldn't appose to seeing them try him there for a game.
*Sigh* as I said, I know stats aren't everything, but when you're playing with Getzlaf and Perry, you need to put points on the board.
I wasnt attacking you in any way.
I can totally see where you are coming from and if they do move him I wouldnt be super upset BUT I would rather give him a chance to play with them at home.

Just different opinion
Well I do at least agree that Belesky is the best option ATM. I've always maintained that Ryan needs to be on a separate line from the twins in order to balance out the scoring. When Lupul gets back, I'd rather see him riding shotgun though.

I agree that Lupul (if he plays anything like last season) should be on that line.
But until then it needs to be beleskey until he loses it.

Voros has been on top lines before similar to a Fedoruk role.

Was just about to post something similar, Voros played a long stretch on the Rangers top line and was productive and i believe with Minn. as well on a scoring line so he's no stranger to the role
As long as useless Blake keeps sitting i have no problems

He even led the league in scoring for a short period of time!
It was an automatic 1 game suspension because it was his second boarding major within a 41 game span.
Yeah I understand that.
I get that he got the suspension due to the game misconducts that he amassed but I was saying that on its own I didn't think it was malicious enough for a suspension.
seems beleskey did indeed suffer a concussion per oc register.

ANAHEIM — Ducks left wing Matt Beleskey suffered a concussion in Tuesday’s victory over Dallas and has been put on injured reserve, the club said Thursday.

Just throwing my 2 cents in to say that I felt the hit was pretty clean, and that the only reason it was boarding was because of the way Beleskey fell.

me too.. my jaw almost dropped when i saw the headline on tsn that robidas was suspended a game (i didn't know about the 2 game misconducts in 41 games deal). too bad beleskey got injured, but it was def a clean hit.

The hit if it happened anywhere else on the ice would have been a no call. However with how it happened its a textbook boarding call and the call on the ice was the correct call. If it wasn't for the automatic suspension though he wouldn't have been suspended which the hit didn't warrant.
I disagree with the major, it was a clean hard check and although it was pretty violent it was within the rules.
The hit appeared to be OK, but he pushed Beleskey into the boards when his head was down and facing the boards. Beleskey was completely vulnerable for a serious head injury.
The hit coupled with the push was vicious and he should have been suspended more than one game IMO.
Beleskey had performed admirably on the top line with Getzlaf and Perry, a line that also has had Bobby Ryan on it a lot. Despite that, Carlyle said it wasn't automatic that Ryan would rejoin those two in Beleskey's absence. “That would seem like an easy one,” he said. “But it’s not as easy as you think it is.”
At least for today, bruiser Aaron Voros skated on that top line with Blake on the fourth line. “He’s a big body," Carlyle said of Voros. "To go up with Getzlaf and Perry we would expect him to move the puck to one of them and go to the net – be as physical as possible and go to the net.”
