So since you know boston will put Chara against Kessel and he usually shuts him down why not switch up the lines to free up Kule + Bozak? Put Steeger on the first line and drop kessel in with Grabovski + Macarthur giving Kule-Bozak-Versteeg more room to operate. Reverse psychology of sorts

I also don't think Steeger is going to be scratched or that he is injured enough to miss the Bahston game. He took a pretty good shot early on that had him on the ice with his helmet knocked off for a while, and I don't remember him playing the same way he was before the shot. That may be because of beer though. A reason for him sitting out today might just be that he is trying to recover from that.

Bit of a rant there, because I do understand the reasoning for Steeger and Puti. We need a bit of size in the top 6. The first line was getting pushed around before, and the second line was last night. Plus, having some offensive ability on the 3rd with Army out will be really important against Boston, and Steeger will be able to give us that while playing the 3rd lines role.

As much as I love Brown, it makes a lot more sense to me for us to roll with this as our bottom 6:
Sjostrom - Brent - Steeger
Brown - Ziggy/Mitchell - Orr
Which ever line kulemin isnt on, will get pushed around. Kulimen is the only big body on our top 6.

Doubt we'd notice if Versteeg was missing. Is the worst forward with a -4 so far.

Dont worry, burkie will find us a legit top six than versteeg can hop down to his orignal spot on the third line

Because we're so overflowing with Top 6 talent that we'll push Versteeg down to the 3rd line.

was going to pick up Bergeron in my pool as a free agent since he has great numeros against the Leafs...but i picked up Kulemin instead.

Kulemin hat-trick tomorrow night.

really can't see Mitchell on the second line with Arthur and Grabs. i would think Caputi would start there, since he has some experience already with Grabovski.

Lets say we do land a top-six guy, who do you demote from our current top-six?

Hope we beat them as always but they have been strong this year. I don't think we can win this but best of luck to our boys. Go get em!

Kessel is faster this season, maybe he can skate around the big tree called Zdeno Chara?

obviously depends on what position the player is.

Kulemin - ______ - Kessel
Arthur - Grabovski - Versteeg
Caputi/Mitch - Bozak - Armstrong
Orr - Zig/Brent - Sjo/Brown

or

______ - Bozak - Kessel
Arthur - Grabovski - Kulemin
Versteeg - Brent - Armstrong
Orr - Zig/Mitchell - Sjo/Brown

i don't know really...but adding a top 6 forward would improve our team all around, including the 3rd line. i'd really like a third line with Versteeg and Armstrong as the wingers.

Boston always plays us hard. Chara shuts down Kessel with ease because of his physical play. Boston plays stingy defense so it's hard for our other lines to keep up. Hopefully better goaltending helps us against the Bruins this year. We can't afford to lose so many divisional points.

Oh, God. I forgot this one was on that godforsaken channel

Also, Kessel with 2 goals tomorrow is my prediction. Leafs win 4 - 2.

Wilson should coach very carefully and put Kessel on the wing away from Chara if Phil is running into problems. Let Kulemin make Chara busy.

I'm not sure, but I do vaguely recall him trying this and it led to some chances before BOS caught on.
