The MacLean system. It is his own. It does not conform to any conventional coaching style. Coincidentally, IT SUCKS.

This team will be extremely lucky to make the playoffs. Philly turned it around because they are stacked up front
and stacked on the blueline.
We have to be modest.

remember when we lost to carolina in game 7?.............those were the days
If this is the theme for the rest of the yr we have a chance at the best OFD to come out of the draft in a long time.
But yea.. we have no draft picks.

I am one of the people saying let's wait till game 20 and evaluate. No need to wait that long...this team has too many faults. Time to start a genuine rebuild.

Call Nashville to undo the Arnott trade.
Call Bettman and send a gay hooker to ask for our 3rd back this year.
Trade Langs for picks and anything else that can fetch a return.
Done

its a good system let me explain............
get pinned in your own end for most of each shift, then blindly clear the puck turning it over at the redline to repeat step one
if we do get it to the red line players are instructed to lose control while trying to stickhandle and or dump the puck in and hurrying to bench for a change so it is ensured there is no pressure created for opposing defensman, thus allowing them to jam the puck down our throats repeaditly.

If we aren't going to score goals with all the talent we have on offense, can we trade the one's that actually have value to upgrade our ****ing defense so we don't have to score 5 goals per game to actually have a shot at the 2 points?
Jesus Christ, were the **** is Elias, Parise, Langenbrunner, Arnott, IK (Yes Jim, I said IK), Clarkson, etc...
We should sit our entire top 6 on our next PP and let Mair, Sestito, Pelley and Zubrus rotate on offense.
This is beyond crazy.

they're doing the same thing they did last year. they looked very tight in preseason. now, they look like *******. when a team looks like dog-****, of course you can't tell what they're doing.
first pass is supposed to come from the D and they're supposed to come in skating.
