The team seems to want to dig the hole deeper for themselves. None of them are playing together. Maybe we should tie them all together Mighty Ducks style and make them "skate as one".
We tried that... sadly during the PP and Zajac got hurt because of it.
the caps were 6-14-1 on november 22nd, they were the first team in history to be last place in the league and still make the playoffs. They won 11 of their last 12 which they needed to do to get in.

He wanted to win and now he's on a team that looks like it may have to just rebuild. Either way, we have to sort of rebuild and retool. Losing like this is just going to speed the need for it up.

God it turns my stomach to see Parise's name there, but it's absolutely true. Is he even on the ice tonight? I'm waiting for Adam Oates to throw on a pair of skates, jump on the ice and show these guys how to complete a pass. Unbelievable.

Honestly wish I could get Albany's games on TV. I am actually excited for them this year. Hopefully Josefson gets sent back down sometime so he can help a team that gives a damn about winning.
I'm just curious as to what this team is being told to run, because we just seem to play without any sense of direction. They look completely disorganized out there, and there is no cohesiveness
X's and O's coaching isn't solely on the coach. The players also have to understand. Players aren't just minions that the coach gives orders to. They do have minds of their own. I'm in the camp that believes the coach doesn't really have a huge impact on what the team does on the ice.
This team will never be in rebuild mode cause they have too many decent pieces they can move to upgrade at our biggest weaknesses, we have a couple of good looking prospects and at worst we have a crappy season this year and start off fresh next year with a better defense that can move the puck and help out our offense by actually jumping in the play and creating some ****ing offense.
