"What's happening right now is nobody cares who gets the credit. When you have guys like Vinny doing the little details like blocking shots and playing great defense...it creates this atmosphere of nobody caring who gets the credit and you find success that way. Everybody is contributing and everybody is playing the same way and that's where the success lies right now.''
Kubina:
Quote:
"...I knew we had a very good team in here,'' defenseman Pavel Kubina said. "You could tell in training camp and in the preseason games we were working on our new system, everybody was on the same page. But we are not satisfied with 7-2-1, we know we still have a lot of things to work on and we have been doing that. So we will get better.''

LETS GO BOLTS!

Should be a fun game to watch. I will put my alarm to wake up and see the game.
If we are up by 3 or 4 goals heading to the 3rd period don't want to think what the Ducks can do to us, they are a really tough team with some goons there, well I love the Randy Carlyle style of play, let's see is we can get the two points in this hard month of hockey for us.

Let's go Lightning!!!!!

We should win this one easily if we shutdown their 1st line, also, we need to shoot a lot against Hiller and hope he isn't in god mode

This west road trip terrifies me. We got the two points against Phoenix so lets hope we can get another two points that we should probably get against Anaheim. Upcoming LA and SJ games scare me the most.

Their 1st line can sometimes shut themselves down as well.

DNA line matches up against Ryan-Getzlaf-Perry?

I'm not as scared of SJ as I usually am. The Kings on the other hand? Terrified.

I'm scared to face San Jose because I have a feeling Niitty is going to say a big **** you and post a big fat zero on the board against us.

....or maybe Niemi will be due for a start.

we beat philly and penguins, so theres nothing to be afraid off.easy cheezy bro

ia am excited for the game vs the kings, as they are my second fav team in the nhl and have a really strong, young skilled team, with great goaltending.of course the sharks game is intriguing , too, our fire power vs jumbo, heatley, marleau, boyle vs kubi.pby nitty in goal.we will see who prevails.

as for the ducks game, i have no idea how good they are at the moment, as i did not follow them at all.i will find out tonight...

Up and down, the defense has been a mess for the last few games with Fowler out but he is expected back tonight. We have 2 top 6 forwards and a bottom 6 foward out right now so the offense is a little bit of a mess as well. We should be playing 3 rookies as well so that won't help matters. Lines haven't been talked about yet since Palmieri and Bonino just got the callup but expect something like;

Ryan-Getzlaf-Perry
Blake-Koivu-Selanne
Marchant-Bonino-Palmieri
Bodie-Carter-Parros

Vis-Lydman
Fowler-Mara
Lilja-Brookbank

Hiller

Actually it's 3 am. Time change.

That top 6 looks pretty legit - on paper at least. They just had a slow start. I wouldn't underestimate them. Plus they have Parros who is clearly the man!

This is one of those games that we SHOULD win and therefore we have to win and get the 2 points. I have seen a lot of Anaheim this year and overall they have been absolutely horrible in all zones and Hiller has been a sieve.

They have to come out flying and dont let off the gas. If we go up more than 3 goals at any time, it will turn to Anaheim taking cheap shots and trying to fight and hit everything regardless of if its clean or not.

The last game against Anaheim in Tampa last season was pretty chippy, might be the same way if we put up a few goals early.

I hate these West Coast games though ugh. 10:00, then tomorrow 10:30. I'll probably see about two periods between the two games.
