NJ/Chi

Probably wont be popular but here it goes

To Chi
C Travis Zajac (3,887,500 cap hit) - 25 years old

To NJ
C Dave Bolland (3,375,000 cap hit) - 24 years old

Hawks get a more offensive C for our 2nd line , Devils get a C who is strong defensively and has 2nd line potential

It saves Devils a little over 500k towards cap , Hawks have the cap room to absorb the increased hit of swapping Zajac/Bolland

I would like to move Sharp back to wing with Toews/Kane permantly and this move would allow it

Sharp-Toews-Kane
Brouwer-Zajac-Hossa
Stalberg-Kopecky-Skille
Bickell-Dowell-Pisani (Until eventually replaced with better winger)

I do see where you're coming from, but I don't think NJ gives this a glance. They love Zajac.

Lol, this is brutal and retarded.

The money doesn't differ much, but the skill does. If we make that trade, we're serious about drafting Adam Larsson first overall...

Oh look! He wants to do a player swap with the much better player coming to his team. Very good proposal man.. oh wait just kidding. This has to be one of the most retarded proposal I've ever seen. Sorry, but that's true. There is absolutely no logic to your proposal. It's like saying To NJ: Patrick Kane , To Chicago: David Clarkson. Would you do that?

Toews/Kane are franchise players

I dont see how Zajac/Bolland is such an outlandish trade idea to have Toews/Kane for Clarkson deals thrown out there

Ask Canuck , Shark and Flyer fans how valuable Bolland is defensively

Your 68 point, good 2 way, 1st line center is a "Franchise Player"

And our 67 point, good 2 way, 1 line center is "expendable"

Zajac and Toews are a heluva lot closer than Zajac and Bolland. It was very outlandish.

Not enough to get a guy like Zajac.

Toews was actually a PPG player last year if you include the playoffs. He's also been a PPG player since the beginning of the playoffs. Basically, Toews is a PPG player as long as you have a favouring sample size.

Career 233 85 113 198 is not a point per game player. At least not by my math.

Both of their production has been pretty close over the last two seasons. It is like 7 point difference over two season. And Zajac is a favorable cap hit for what he brings...It makes no sense (the trade proposal) whatsoever

I doubt the Devils like it and Consider it...

I think Brouwer for a Center would make more sense for the Hawks

**** no.

Zajac is pretty even stat wise to Toews, has the Selke voting as well. Not a chance in hell.

So why do the Devils do this? Zajac is better than Bolland at both ends and he's got great chemistry with Parise.

Horrid. Zajac is miles ahead of Bolland a this point. Guy is so underrated, he does everything. Unless New Jersey gets a better center back, OR a true #1 dman, Zajac isn't going anywhere.

Bolland better defensively than zajac? By what margin?

And we trade our first line center for someone you say has second line POTENTIAL? (leaving us with no first line c and a potential second line C?)

All this for a cap savings of 500k?

hahaah
