PDB at the next break: "OK guys we just need 3 more goals in the next 4 minutes and we take this thing to OT. YOU GUYS READY??!!" And then a collective "uhhhhhhhh" is quietly heard.

I just got a visual of Gordon Bombay trying to fire up the Ducks by saying "WIN WIN WIN!" in their first game.

The OHL has been a more offensive league than the Q the last 2 years, it's not a high-flying league anymore. Couturier's skating is underrated. He's no speed demon, but there's no problem at all with his skating. This is just a label that's stuck with him since his rookie year. For a big man, he's a very good skater.

If two guys are equal in talent, I will take the bigger guy everytime. Couturier is a more complete player as well. He's just a safer prospect than RNH at this time. Right now, Couturier is almost a slam dunk for stardom. RNH is still a bit of a question mark IMO.
You have a few good points in there but obviously in juniors, if you have size to go along with some decent skill, you'll almost surely put up good stats. If you're average size, however, your talent will have to carry you a bit further though since you won't get those freebies by boxing out dmen or having them ride your hip since they're smaller (especially in the Q, which always has small mobile dmen, always smaller than the O and W dmen). I think Couturier will be good and I know he has great skills so I'd probably pick him over RNH, but I don't love either one of these guys this year, at least yet.

You know people are tired of this team when no one even comments that we just scored a goal.

That should definitely be this team's motto for the rest of the year. Or at least their motto amongst the board.

I'm smelling a high draft pick! BTW I'm glad Guds is in the juniors this season for his sake.

It's been about 2 or 3 consecutive years now where you've said this same exact thing, at some point in the season.

It shows how awful and irrelevant this franchise has become. "No worries, fans. No expectations; no disappointments! And remember!...We'll have confetti the last game of the year for all the crap you had to endure!"

I almost guarantee you that if we finish dead last we'll pick 2nd overall because we'll lose the lottery.
