I don't know who to root for.

Every season, there is a new candidate that comes along. Bring it.

They got a decent return and still have a very capable starter behind a pretty good team. That's really the long and short of it to me.

FOR Phoenix ... I just hate the RedWings so anything to help keep the Wings down ... plus I don't think Phoenix will be the Cinderella team they were last season, so I doubt we have too much to worry about them for the Pacific title race this season.

I understand what ur saying but saying price is good, I think we can say halak is better. That's the core of my disagreement...

If the Kings had dropped to the third pick I wanted Pieterangelo. Reading everything on him I thought he had the best chance to improve. He was ill before the draft and that caused him to slide a bit.

yea he is a beast...but some of the fans have some weird logic. I just dont see him at Drews level especially when they are the same age. I think they assume AP will improve and DD will stay the same

Brian Boyle with his second goal already tonight (7 on the year). Seems like he's moving up from a fourth line center in NY.

It's Brian Boyles fault he didn't work out here.

Okay, maybe I won't say it's all his fault. But, he had his chances here and it just didn't work out.

He's playing a bigger role in NY than he would have as a King, seeing how the Kings' top three centers are Kopitar, Stoll and Handzus. Meanwhile in NY, there's Dubinsky, Stepan, Boyle as the top three with Anisimov or Christensen. He's been given an opportunity he would have never had in LA. Glad to see he's doing well though in his new role. He didn't seem too comfortable as a King.

I think Boyle could have worked out here. Lombardi just didn't like him though. The weird thing with Dean is he either loves or hates you. If its in between, then you'll most likely end up trade bait at some point - so essentially you should fall into the hate side.

Why are people in love with stats of former players? The NHL is a team sport and you can't keep everyone. The Kings are 10-3 and people still want Boyle, Moulson and Frolov back. If those players were good enough in LA, they would still be here.

Half of the Monarchs will probably end up on other NHL teams, it's just the nature of the cap. If Hickey is moved and goes on to be a top 4 defenseman, it doesn't mean that he would have been a top 4 in LA.

In three years, Quick or Bernier could be on a different team, doesn't mean they suck. Just means that you can't afford 2 #1 goalies.

Agreed, Habs helped us out beating canucks in regulation. Who do we want out of sj and Ana?

A win in regulation. Can't "root" for either team.

Lol, the Sharks can't beat the _Ucks. Hopefully, the _ucks win since they're less competition.

Watching Toronto implode after their 4-0 start has been fun. Over the next few years everyone will get to see what an overrated trigger-happy GM Burke is.

I remeber when he signed there... and a article came out about the got the wrong so Cal gm. Of course the leafs fan boys wouldn't hear any of it. But it is fun to watch the fail.... btw I hate kessel.

Also still laugh about leaf fans thinking brayden after his rfa period would leave the kings to join his brother. Beccause they will have the better team then. Lol
