Love cammy, but look at what Kessel is able to do on Toronto with the likes of Bozak. He would be deadly with Pleks and AK46.

I would've taken Stewart ever since last year's playoffs, granted Cammy scored more, but considering age, salary and potential I'd take Cammy, Stewart and then Kessel, Kessel is way too one dimensional, soft and prone to weird diseases and such.

Well, he also plays with Versteeg this year.
In Boston he played with Savard.

Cammy actually has a better scoring ratio than Kessel, but I agree, the latter probably is a little notch above the former one.
If we look at what Cammy accomplished in the POs last year and his dedication/leadership to the team, it may swing things back in his favor.

As many have said though, I would choose Stewart over both of them.

Wow. Really? Cammalleri over Kessel?

As much as I love Cammalleri, I would definitely give him up for Kessel. Though, right now, I'll agree that it might be somewhat of a wash (Mike being stronger in terms of leadership and other intangibles, Phil having the edge in terms of pure skill on the ice), Mike's in his prime right now whereas Kessel is still 23 and is only going to improve.

As for Stewart, I don't feel like I can comment at all as I've really seen little of him actually playing. Scouting reports seem to be good, but I'd be lying if I said I've seen more than 4 Colorado games in the past year or so.

Yes, I'll give you Savard when he played in Boston.

But Versteeg? The guy coming off a 44 point season with the Stanley Cup Champions? The guy with 2 points in 11 games with Toronto?

I haven't really watched much of the Leafs this year, so I don't even know if they're playing together, but if they are, I'm pretty confident that Kessel doesn't have Versteeg to thank for his 9 points (7 goals).

Kessel is the real deal. With his speed and his shot, he's always a threat. He's like Kovalchuk without the toughness and size. There are few players in the league who scare me anytime they have the puck, but Kessel is one of those guys.

In his draft year, Stewart was the guy I wanted the most, simply because he was huge already and using his size (didn't thought he would become that good though), and I would gladly take him over Cammy, although I'm perfectly happy to have him right now.

All 3 are great, Cammy is older but he was amazing in the playoffs and that is a big deal. Sadly Cammy would have to be chosen last.

I'd take Cammy over Kessel. Kessel can be a one man show, and lord knows he has a sick shot, but he can also go into some pretty nasty slumps. He's also really uninvolved in other aspects of the game, and I find him, IDK, a bit weird. I think he'd have a nervous break down if ever did get to Montreal. Leafs coverage is basically homers and puff pieces. No real criticism or tough questions.

Cammy is not as dynamic but he has a wicked shot too. I love his scrappiness and he is a solid, solid leader. He proved in the P.Os that's he's a big game guy and loves the spotlight, which is what you want from your game breaker. Cammy loves the pressure in Montreal. I love this guy.

Stewart vs Cammy isn't a very fair comparison since Stewart is much bigger and brings that edge to his game along with skill. You'd have to be nuts not to take Stewart over either Cammy or Kessel.

1. Stewart
2. Cammy
3. Kessel

I'm not saying Versteeg is the reason why Kessel has 9pts. But someone said it's remarkable doing what he does next to Bozak. I felt it was unfair to mention his other linemate, who's better than Bozak. I know Versteeg ain't no super playmaker, but he'S still a skilled forward.

It's as if I said it was incredible scoring as much as he did in Boston being next to Lucic...while not mentioning Savard.

He is a very sniper, no doubt. But you're wrong about his toughness.

I don't know much about Stewart but I'd take Kessel over Cammalleri/ Cammalleri has peaked while Kessel hasn't.

I would want Kessel as far away from my city as possible. He is not a chemistry guy.

If I was rebuilding with youth I would want Stewart.

If I was building with Vets I'd want Cammy. The guy is a gamer, who can easily handle/enjoy playing in our hockey mad city. The guy is the perfect mold for the type of player that montreal needs, I just don't know enough about Stewart to say the same.

I don't know anything about Stewart but judging by how highly everyone speaks of him, it's probably a good idea to follow the crowd.

Between Cammy and Kessel though, given the question about having one of them for the next 5 years specifically, I'd take Cammalleri. Mike will be spending all these years in his prime, and he's on top of all aspects of his game. He has no glaring downside. Kessel can score with his eyes closed, but he does slump here and there, and doesn't have the greatest two-way game. He'll be just as good as Cammy, maybe better when he completes his game some more, but right now Cammy takes it.

I take the guy who score 13 times in PO.
Stewart would be real nice with the Gs.
Kessel is a hab killer and is a good player.
