Leafs are 3-1-1 at home so far, and have outscored opponents 13-8 at the ACC. We should win this one for several reasons

1. Home game
2. Rangers will be playing their 2nd game in as many nights
3. Kessel will be motivated after being shutout in beantown and hearing the crown chant "thank you kessel"
4. Giggy's in net
5. Rangers missing two of their best forwards

What the..
Are we ever gonna stop playing the Rangers?

I think this is gonna be a HARD game to win. Rangers, honestly, looks better without Gaborik. Since they lost Gaborik, they look like a whole new team.

I have a really good feeling about this one. I think we light up the Rangers. 5 - 1 Leafs.

Scratch Mitchell, call up Hanson, move Brent to wing, at least until Colby/Versteeg come back.

Just win! 6-3-1 would just be a beautiful first 10 games!

We really need a dominating performance to get the old confidence back!!! I'll be out in the movies with the lady I'll try to avoid all score mentions and watch it when i get home.

Jeez I am fed up of playing the Rangers already. Hopefully the team are up to it (Bozak and Caputi seem pumped on twitter).

GLG.

Brian Burke, is that you?

@HennyTweets Christian Hanson called up. He just stepped out on the ice.

BTW, looks like Verbeauty might go tonight. He's taking the skate.

I saw a little of the Rangers game last night and it looked like they were playing an aggressive forecheck and rough and tumble game. Maybe we'll see Ziggy out for Hanson for the size and physicality?

Well hopefully Versteeg is ready to go. If not at least Hanson is up so they can put together the best lineup that they can. Keep Mitchell watching games with Caputi on the second and Hanson on the third. Of course better to just get Versteeg back in, but will have to see how he's feeling. At least being on the ice looks promising.

Might I recommend the old radio with hidden ear bud trick?

I went to my Grandma's birthday dinner the last time they played the Rangers and I fired up the Slingbox at home to stream the game to my iPhone. Low and behold, we were sitting close to the bar at Baton Rouge so I was surrounded by 10 HD tvs tuned in anyways!

Hanson played pretty well for the marlies last night, scored the only goal for them in a 2-1 loss. Could be a reward type of thing. If Versteeg is ready to go I see Hanson probably going in for Zigo, would rather him go in for Brent but I think Wilson really loves Brent. So I think the safer bet would be Hanson in for Zigo.
