I wouldn't say he pummeled him. He landed another nice right that cut Shelley, and he definitely won, but it wasn't any some kind of totally one sided beatdown.

Sure it was. Engelland got 4 or 5 good shots and Shelly didn't land anything.

That's a pummeling. Saw about 4 very heavy shots land. Nothing by Shelley.

Engelland landed 3 rights, hardly a pounding. Thats what Pens homer announcers do though. They have some of the most biased in the business.

The kid can throw'em, no doubt. Surprised he didn't make it up earlier if people thought he could fight like this. Did he dominate in AHL?

Shelley, good guy and game but really quite over-rated. Flyers needed a big tough guy but not sure they got the right one.

Love Engelland, he makes Godard expendable.

Very smart fighter. He played great defense while still landing big shots. Shelley had no idea what to do with him.

Shelly was so hyped up in Philly and honestly he isn't doing anything big for the team.

What? If anything he was being hyped as a horrible addition to the team. Anyway, Engelland definitely got some nasty rights in but it wasn't exactly a domination, but a a quick pummeling for sure. Shelley was pretty remarkable holding his own after that barrage, true heavyweight.

Been watching him since he was in vegas (ECHL) .. not many fighters would even go near him while he was there.. Very open style fighter.. Also probly has the highest pound for pound to punching power ratio i have seen

i believe shelley had a black eye already in that spot, so that didnt help his cause for bleeding as it was already bruised up.

Impressive fight by Engelland, impressive resolve sticking through after that first right by Shelley.

Great scrap.
