I know, but I was hoping spacek would disrupt him from getting a good shot rather than haul him down.

Yeah Hammer effed up but Spacek attempt at a poke-check was laughable. Spacek is an insult to professional athletes. Get off the ice you fat ****.

Well, Spacek didn't expect that turnaround. The next thing he knew, there was a Panther skating with the puck full speed at him.

You can't blame him for the diving poke check.

(I don't like Spacek but this is 100% Hammer's fault.)

To be fair, while it was certainly not his finest hour. Spacek had no other options, I mean him catching after Booth would have just been comical.

Now would be a good time for Gomez and Gionta to step up and make something happen.

The ps was definitely 100% Hamr's fault. I still can't believe he tried to go through the neutral zone like that, but really their whole shift was complete fail.

when it's obvious the glaring weaknesses on D are the same guys over and over again - when they are the weak links in an otherwise strong start to the season - yes there is frustration. these two are ****ing awful and slow and making stupid decisions with the puck over and over again

How in god's name is it "shakehead" worthy? They've sucked tonight. Did you not see the play leading up to the penalty shot?

Don't be a fanboy, Spacek and Hamrlik are terrible athletes and they're hurting this team.

I thought Hammer had been playing pretty good as of late, up until that ridiculous rush.....Spacek...well, he's Spacek.
