When JM was at the helm of this franchise, he wanted to emulate the 07 ducks team; play a strong defensive game with d's that have ability to chip in goals every now and then. Scratch that.. Now we are scoring by committee like trotz's predators. The difference is their forwards are superior to ours in almost every category. You can't expect much from a team that can't score. It's sad. How are we supposed to be a tough team to play against when we can't even mount a comebacks. We are like a wannabe crap version of the 07 ducks with the theme of scoring by committee. I'll say it again, it's just sad.

Same feeling here. They tried for 4 games then gave up went back to old habits maybe even worse.

If they follow the old mantra tonight they will play one solid period lose about 6-2 then after this loss they will win 2-3 games in a row give 100% in 2 of those 3 games and then lose 5-7 games couple in OT

I was afraid those first four games were just a dream. Here we are again, not scoring until garbage time, allowing too many shots, not hitting the net, not breaking out cleanly, and treating a PP like it's better to decline the advantage. Groundhog season again. No "new" attitude, no accountability, no talent, soft, and not hard to play against. Tallon, my man, take that huge ass ring and run while you can. The failboat has set sail.

Do we really have to call it a "top line"? Now with that said, they will probably bust out and score three goals.

Martin ignoring the forward situation is a big reason we're so bad today. He brought in old vets like Stumpel and McLean to help fix things instead of trying to acquire younger, more talented players. He traded Jokinen away, and while that was a good decision to get rid of him, Martin had no replacement for Jokinen once he was gone.

Just once, I'd like to see our GM actually go out and get a real top 6 forward instead of continually passing off journeymen vets and 3rd liners to the fanbase as "top 6 players."

Moen will gladly accept Hordichucks invitation. Just like he accepted invitation last night.

Prediction is that Hordichuck will own Moen all night and the Panthers destroy the Habs 6-1. I only say this because everyone's on the tank wagon and when this happens the Panthers end up playing god-like their next game. Call me superstitious.

Ive noticed that the feeds are messed up.. At least for DirecTV, I have it on the HD feed and it's not even close to HD, very blurry.

Nah, I see the same thing...I have no idea what has been up with the fox sports net broadcasts lately...I think the broadcast is not HD and that they are upscaling a 480i transmission to 720p...Thus stretching a small picture to a higher resolution allows you to see more distortion in the transmission. Sucks! Now that I looked at the SD broadcast it is just as messed up...I am going to watch this one on gamecenter live, this is quite pathetic...

I've got standard cable, not digital, HD or satellite or anything and I've also got a distorted picture.

Funny that Lindsay is saying Vokoun hasn't been spectacular, and maybe the Panthers need him to steal a game. Then he says he expects Vokoun to steal one tonight.

Who goes into a game EXPECTING a goaltender to steal a game in order to win? Only the Panthers organization.

I am thinking its a transmission problem on the part of whoever works at that arena...It's not comcast because I am watching the Montreal transmission on game center live...It is just as blurry.

http://www.vektorious.net/pics/horrible.jpg - put that in your browser to see what their transmission looks like in 720p. Not good. It's a problem they are having in Montreal...sucks.
