Unfortuneatly, 4 month from now -- I am pretty certain how it will look... Kids develop well when they are put in perfect positions. We have a lot of good positions on this team, but if we rely on Dubi, Ani, Stephan, Callahan and co too much -- the s will hit the fan.
The season have barely started, and they had a complete meltdown late last night.

True that. We all have opinions.
That said Ola, is Jordan Eberle being placed into a situation that is better than the Rangers youngsters are? John Tavares? Taylor Hall? They seem to be developing just fine on terrible teams that are very young. The blanket statement about needing vets is incorrect. We have endured years and years of dependence on "veteran leadership" resulting in missed playoffs and embarrassing performance. There is zero evidence that good players will underachieve due to their early introduction into an NHL lineup. Skinner, at age 18 seems to be doing well too, don't you think? The NHL has changed......it is a kids league now. Vets are now 27 year old players with 6 years in the league. It really is all about TALENT and ABILITY. Slats has done a dreadful job (until the last few years) of stocking the club with talent. Instead, he has signed big money deals for underachieving veterans. Those days are over in NY (hopefully). They are certainly over around the rest of the NHL.
