Parise not happy in New Jersey

Mike Brophy(Sportsnet) was just on Hockeycentral and he said he's hearing that Parise no longer wants to be in NJ and he has been feeling that way for a while.

Brophy said someone close to the team told him that Parise is willing to play out the season but he hopes he gets an offer sheet in the summer. He doesn't want to re-sign with the Devils.

I don't have a link because it was just on TV. I also don't know if Brophy actually has legit sources but that's what he just said. Take it for what it's worth.

It was also mentioned that prior to getting benched Kovy was late to four team meetings. The team was referred to as "circus."

Parise-Kessel will be something.

Wow, you have to hope for NJ fans' sake that isn't true.

NJ losing Parise would hurt more than us losing Kovy

Parise and Wheeler (from Boston) to Buffalo.
They spent the summer with Vanek and Pommers touring Austria and Parise and Miller spent a good amount of time at J. M. Liles house in Colorado this off season.

Pittsburgh will give Kunitz, top prospect+ if needed.

With the contracts he signs, we can afford to keep him without being screwed over and we'd be willing to overpay. Him on a line with Crosby just makes me giggle in a way that hockey shouldn't make me feel.

WOW, i really don't wanna sound like a stereotypical leafs fan, but if we land parise.... we would become instant contenders for the division.

Shenn + Kessel for Parise and I'm still not sure NJ does it. I know I wouldn't, but if NJ is forced to, then they might.

Kunitz is only because of cap reasons. Top prospect + prospect + high pick would also be included.

Whatever it takes to get them to be interested to begin with is what id be looking to try

Exactly. In reality Kessel and Shenn isn't even enough for Parise, but NJ takes less if Parise wants out.

Actually they do. He's an RFA. Even if he wants out, NJ holds the cards.
