What is a good Whalepack forum? Anyone know?

No real clue. Never even thought of it.

Does MZA have an NHL future with the Rangers?

It'd be nice to see what he could do in the NHL but I understand giving him time in the AHL to hone his game and adapt to the N.A. game. How has he looked so far?

Hartford was shut out against the Marlies last night (4-0). And here I was hoping they'd gained a bit of momentum.

What's MZA's upside? I know it's probably a little early and he's still adjusting to the N.A. game, but based on early results what can we exect when he makes the NHL?

Would be nice to see them finding some chemistry on a regular basis, yes. It's hard to judge a team based only on the stats though, I haven't seen any of their games. For all I know, they could have spent all of the 3rd period hitting posts.

His past says 15-20 goals 35-50 points IF he makes the team.

I think his skills translate well to the NHL and NY can use a nifty playmaker with some finishing skills, especially on the powerplay.

A few things have worked against MZA making the team out of training camp that were out of his control and further still now that the season is underway

I think he has a future on broadway its just a question of when that opportunity comes

The guy did save middle earth so i'm sure he can crack the rangers at some point. He definitely has the talent, it's just all about adjustment.

I tweeted Jesse Spector about MZA and spector told me that he thinks the Rangers will keep him in HFD until they are convinced he is ready to come up to the NHL and stay there. Spector said that he thinks that once they bring him up to the Rangers, its for good.

Yes he has a great attitude for sure! He will get his chance but it takes time. People are going bonkers over here because he is not playing for the Rangers and blames the whole thing on "politics" .

1+1 and 3rd star honours for Mats last night btw!

He will get his shot next year. We have at least two wings opening up.

I love the subtle Drury-on-the-4th-line.

He's got 10 points in his last 8 games.

Looks like he is getting used to the NA style.
