so you watch them games, wear jersey etc?? or only do this with NJD?
I don't have any Bruins jerseys, and I don't follow them as a fan. But I would root for them over anybody else other than the Devils, and I'll watch their games when the Devils are not playing.
Ehm..is it just me or this thread is absolutely meaningless?
But whatever, I use to watch many games, especially Bruins and Hawks since the s*cked hard, but no special treatment with them. Devils only and forever. I have to repeat what kyle evs said, I do like individual players from other teams, though.
I used to be fan of the Avs (in addition to the Devils) when they had Forsberg and Roy. Now I'm a Devils fan only. I still like some teams more than others, like the Avs, Stars, Sabres, Bruins and Wild. But I don't follow them in particular.

i made the experience its kinda hard to like other teams, what do you do when wash plays against the devs?
I want the game to go into OT no matter what.
In the Devils games that I've been to at Verizon, Jersey started Scott Clemmenson twice in a row before I got to see Brodeur, that pissed me off something awful. Then when I finally got to see Marty play he gave up 5 goals. So I pull for the home team lol
Thread is fine to me. It's refreshing actually not to discuss Kovalchuck or Devils players that suck for the ten millionth time.
It could be, but this isn`t the first thread on this theme, is it?
Serious draft talk would be much more worthy and refreshing too... of course I don`t mean ridiculous threads like "Larsson vs. Couturier, who will be the next NJD Messiah".
i liked Devils, colorado, phili, detroit from NHL on pc. devils the most and since i knew many players on the team and i really liked elias and arnott and the likes, the Devils grew as my fave team. and since kovalchuk is just awesome, i was glad about the signing.
but since i got more into NHL i discovered not liking phili and detroit that much really. but then saw washington especially ovi's play and liked this so far. colorados team is young, i liked their style. and san jose had some sick players and a cool logo
later on i kind of liked nashville and atlanta because of some players and their game. i liked byfuglien and then saw antropov etc on atlanta...and nashville have some german guys on there
but i didnt see any whole games of all these teams except the devils.so i can not really judge how much i like their "gameplay".
so, in the end, i cannot really base my opinion on playing-facts, which kind of sucks, lol
1) Devils
2) Yankees
3) NY Giants
4) **** the rest
I became a Devils fan because my dad's company has had tickets for years and when I was 7-8 years old, he introduced me to hockey and brought me to a bunch of Devils games and a few Rangers games, but I loved chanting 'hey' after we scored (that was a big deal to me as a kid ) and I lived in east rutherford for the first 5 years of my life, so we were constantly going to games.....so I've since stuck with the Devils and don't plan on rooting for any other team any time soon
There are a lot of teams I hate. Not a single other team whose jersey I own, and I don't get emotionally invested in any other team besides the Devils.
That said, I do root for the Thrashers because Bergie is there and the Coyotes because I'm a Shane Doan fan.
Other teams I don't mind doing well include St. Louis, Minnesota, Buffalo, LA, guess that's about it.
I chose the Devils because of Brodeur. When the Whalers left I was left without a team, and since I didn't want to become a Rangers or Bruins fan, I chose a team with a great goalie, since I played goalie myself. I started liking other players on the team as I watched more games, and I've been a Devils fan since then.
No second favorite team. But I cheer for certain teams to win if the games won't affect NJ in anyway. Boston, Nashville, Phoenix, and Tampa(only because St.Louis is my favorite non Devil, and starting to get a man crush for Stamkos)
I'm from Canada, born and raised, but been a Devils fan since I started watching hockey in 2002.
