So, the Blue Jackets are set to play the Thrashers tonight. Have you seen this? Have you heard about this?

"Oh, yes...you would think one team in Georgia would be enough."

On a serious note...I'm on my way to Atlanta right now.

Having the ability to use my phone's network for internet (HTC Evo) is amazing.

1857 - nice pic from the georgia congress center

here is the front of phillips for those that don't know

this is a game of the two teams I root for...having lived in Atlanta I saw when the Thrashers actually drew fans...i hope the jackets pull out the win, we need it more than they do....

FYI, jacket backers are doing a game watching party at the buffalo wings and rings in lewis center if anyone is up that way....

Just win, baby.

It's not a headline, but I'll never forget one of the first Miracle on the Hudson passengers released from the hospital being interviewed after exiting the hospital:

Reporter: "Where were you headed on the flight?"
Passenger: "My dad, brother & I were off to N.C. for a weekend of golf."
R: "Where are you from?"
P: "Connecticut".
R: "Well then what are you doing HERE?"

CBJ travel west to play eastern team.

Atlanta is further West than Columbus.

Have we gotton 14 points in the first 11 games before? I thought that was the most...

As for the game tonight, it will be close. It will take a team effort and great goaltending by Garon to win it.

Pahlsson will strap it on against former teammates

Tonights Criticality Reason: There seems to be a lot of back patting and similar activities coming out of the locker room Tuesday. The Jackets need to have ceased that the minute they stepped off the plane in Hartsfield. The potential for letdown is high tonight, and if the jackets are for real, they'll come to play tonight.

Tonight is a classic opportunity for a letdown but I don't think they will, I could be wrong though.

Oh... and I found that this helps ease the pain of the stupid losses. Figured I'd share my pain relief with everyone.

But I'm hoping for a good game tonight, I'll go 3-1 Jackets.

this Thrashers team is for real. If the CBJ don't bring their "A" game this will be a loss.

I think Arniel and his coaches are doing a much better job than Hitch anticipating the team's psyche before each game and making the necessary attitudinal adjustments. This group of coaches have a real feel for the pulse of the team. So I think a "letdown" can be avoided.

Sooo... I shouldn't take poison. Huh. Well that explains the last couple of days. Here I thought I just had the flu. Who knew I was actually experiencing the effects of that rat poison I was eating the other day?

I'm excited because I should be able to see the whole game tonight. They better not let me down. I think we'll finally score more than three goals. 5-2 good guys. Jake finally gets one, RJ, Dmac and Vermette gets 2.
