The Sedins have flat out said they play better when the other team is trying to hit them, didn't they?

The Canucks win 94-1 (own goal by Bieksa).
Burrows gets all 94 goals, and the Sedins get all the assists.

I say that the Canucks win 4-3 (if Luongo starts).
Burrows, Samuelsson, Daniel Sedin, and Bieksa score.

Some folks may want to stop their little hissy fits with each other, or they're going to find that they can't access the GDT any more.

We finally get to see the team, tonight! It is disgraceful that Burrows has been ready to play for two weeks. Losing your top scorer for October is a disaster.

Not sure how many know it here but Daniel has been using a stick with a softer flex. Being, self-admittedly, a weaker player, it allows him to shoot harder.

Daniel is on pace for 57 goals.

the cap

so we were cap compliant enough that dropping tambi at $.5M for AB at $2M we dont have to do anything else???

Anyhow, I expect this to be a good night for the Canucks ... they need to dominate their division this year and they know it. No way this is a night off. Hoping for 7-1 but think 5 - 2 is a realistic score.

And yes, the Oil is gonna be prob in afew years.

Also, putting Sheldon in the minors (is that the same Sheldon from Big Bang???) is now looking insane, when they sure could use him and its not like they have salary cap issues ... (at about $50M right now i believe) ... and they have to pay him either way. Now they have the problem that if they recall him he will get taken at 1/2 price and the oil will have to cover half his salary. Heck i think i would take him at $2.5M.

a separate question, if you trade a player does he have to clear waivers to come up? If someone trades for Souray does he have to go through recall waivers to play for his new team?

Finally the return of alex burrows, Sure he's been healthy and was given the green light to go but because of ltir rules, he had to sit out for 10 games. he'll be rusty but thats expected, im excited to see his energy injected into the lineup and will probably balance some lines especially the pp. Kesler to the 2nd unit. burrows/torres on the 1st unit.

No one should feel 'disappointed' if Burrows isn't up to normal standards tonight, but it feels great to have him back.
