Rangers on TV for CT residence... HELP?

Hey Guys,

I live up in Hartford, CT and I have Comast. I have tried Center Ice (Ranger games blacked out), I've tried NHL Network (Ranger games blacked out)... They DO NOT offer MSG so am I **** out of luck? I thought... Well, this is the year I get to watch my NY Rangers on something other than a ****** streaming site. BUT NO!

Anyone else in similar situations with a fix/advice/etc..

I had this problem when I was living in Clinton. Nothing but Bruins games on. Always the friggen Bruins, but anyhow.. Sometimes we got a broadcast on NBC or something but for the most part it was streams for me. Luckily I'm back in Brooklyn, but my sympathies man, it sucks. Have you called Comcast to tell them Center Ice blacks out an out of market(not out of market, but whatever it says) game isnt being shown?

Will games get blacked out for him if he subscribes to the NHL Gamecenter streams?

If yes, other than that, I'd say you only have 2 other options:

1) Ask people to PM you online feeds just before games start, and watch online

or

2) If you know someone in the NYC Metro Area who does receive broadcasts, purchase a Slingbox, send it to them, and have them transmit/broadcast the games to your home computer in CT... Sounds like a pain in the ass but it's a small price to pay to see Ranger's hockey!

The Site ATDHE.NET has basically every sporting event on for the day from football, hockey to soccer and tennis. I usually watch most of my stuff there. If not, I do own a sling box but it constantly needs resetting so I don't use it often.

I don't own the Center ice stream. I had the 30 day free trial and now I am on the 30 day free trial of NHL network and nothing. I'm scared, plain and simple lol.

I live in CT New Haven and I get the games on MSG with comcast. I cant believe comcast in hartford doesnt carry MSG, you should call them to be sure. And if so you could always switch to DirectTV which im almost positive will get you MSG.

When the knicks are aired over the rangers and I have to watch a stream Im fuming so I know somewhat of your pain I cant imagine all the time!

Loffen always links a different stream site in the OP of the GDT. I've always had good luck with it for hockey and motorsport. Not sure if it's different streams from ATDHE.net or not.

Seriously? I live in Wethersfield and have Cox. They don't offer MSG at all so I was looking to buy Center Ice. The rep on the phone told me that he wasn't sure if they would be blacked out or not so I waited for the season to start since there was the free preview. Ranger games came in fine with the MSG feed or the opposition's feed so it wasn't a problem. I ordered it and still got no problem. Also got the game on NHL Network the other night. Not sure why you're having the problem with Comcast, but you're welcome to come over and watch a game with me. Ha ha ha... I don't have a big tv but I've got beer. Lots of beer.

I watched the pre-sesaon games on www.hockeystreams.com, quality was pretty good. Other than that I can't give you any advice as I live in Yurop.

I have Comcast in Windsor, don't get MSG the channel, but the MSG games are shown, usually on CSN channel 31 or channel 102. I don't know what channel if at all the game is shown when the Knicks and Nets are playing...
