Getting quicker with Agility\speed Ladder?

I just did a home-made agility ladder in my basement and I was wondering if I do drills on it each day for 15-30 mins, will I notice a difference in my foot speed and agility when i'm playing hockey?

BTW, I just tapped my floor with 6 equal squares to resemble the agility ladder haha. Instead of 60$ ladder, I made one for free with tape I had.

From what I've heard, it's to late to train your footspeed after you are 13-16 years old, that's your "prime-time" , of course you don't get worse though. I'm not an expert on the topic

You might want to add in some plyometric training as well. Quick feet need explosive power to really hit your full potential.

Not true, you can easily gain footspeed into your 30s by gaining strength and having better technique. Luc Robitaille shaved a half second off his blueline to blueline time at 35.

To be far, improving from molasses to honey isn't really that much of an improvement

Youtube agility ladder, there's a lot of exercises on youtube and just online in general.
