There's something badly wrong going on. Seems like the review booth in Toronto must be associated with MLSE. Pure garbage game tonight, including the call on Hale at end when the puck clearly hit the glass before going out, hopefully the league fines the refs or hands down a suspension.

I highly doubt that'll happen. I'd love to see it but it'll never happen. The refs have blown much bigger calls. It's always seemed like pretty biased officiating in Leaf-land to me (see Orr's goal against Florida), but maybe I'm just biased or grumpy
I wanted to make a retort regarding some of the comments I read on the other thread. It isn't Clouston telling the team to sit back when we have the lead, its the players who continue to do this and need to get out of the habit.

Good to see Sarge get his first goal as a Senator! And I can never complain about a Karlsson goal that kid is great. And Fisher remains at 100% on Penalty shots Elliott's starting to show more confidence and play much better. It'd be nice if we could have to quality goalies to roll with all year.
I seriously come in peace I was watching a game in 6 minutes..and didn't notice it till now but I see the puck in the net.Watch around the 2:00 minute mark looks like the puck is on the players skate (whoever that Sens player is).

I've noticed over the last few years that the Leafs usually get more power play opportunities than their opponents, especially when they play at home. I'm actually shocked when I look at the box score of a Leaf game and find that they've had less power plays than their opponent - it rarely occurs. This year's been no exception and last night's game is just another example. It's a joke!
Look at the skate a black puck is on top..just watch it a few times.
Between 2:25 and 2:31 stop the clip I see a puck
Edit:Better yet stop the video at 2:31 whats the black thing on the Sens skate..as I Leaf fan I can honestly say that was a goal.
When they slowed it down on tv i thought I saw the puck under his skate across the line then all of a sudden it disapeared. I'd expect an inconclusive goal to take longer to figure out especially when it looked like it had to have gone in somehow.

I'm pretty much expecting this team to win game like this. We're basically relying on old skilled players to carry our load. For us to have success, our PP has to be lethal. This team will never be a good team at even strength but we can make up for it with a deadly PP.
Can a team with this makeup win the Stanley Cup? I doubt it very much but they can easily win enough games to make the playoffs.

Its hard to say if they play as a team anything can happen.
The answer to the officiating is Bill McCreary. Anytime I see this ****ers ugly mug, I know we will lose or have a tough time winning. Going back for a decade, this guy has always put the screw to the Senators. He is a leaf fan and friends with Tie Domi. He has cost us many games vs the leafs and more importantly, many key games in the POs. I tried to find his record on the net but can't. I will be so happy when this sack retires.

The league should have a rule no refs can work a game for there home town team.
