Congratulations to Pascal and his wife!

9:45 AM (CENTRAL TIME):
As we sit in our hotel here in Dallas in preparation for this morning's game-day skate at American Airlines Center, we have very good news to report. Penguins forward Pascal Dupuis is on his way back to Pittsburgh (probably shaving off his moustache as he travels) to be with his wife, Carol-Lyne, who is heading into labor. This is a scenario we actually wrote about in yesterday's feature story.

This will be the Dupuis' fourth child. We want to wish Pascal and Carol-Lyne all the best as they welcome another member to the Dupuis gang.

Congrats.

I wonder if the kid was born without hands like his/her old man?

If hes heading back and Malkin isnt able to play we wont have enough forwards......correct?

Good news for him though.

wow. not a pens fan but that is either straight up rude or not at all funny.

Maybe you have a reputation on the Pens board as a funny man, otherwise this is a terrible post. Ok i will go back to the oiler forum now...

I don't think he meant it as a lack of literal hands....

Yeah, it was just sarcasm. I didn't mean to offend people that don't have hands.

I'll put this one here too:

11:39 AM (CENTRAL TIME):
The Penguins have just started skating in their lines and we have some breaking news. Evgeni Malkin, who has spent the entire season playing right wing, practiced at center today for the first time during the regular season on a line with Matt Cooke at left wing and Tyler Kennedy on the right side. Here are the rest of the forward units used by head coach Dan Bylsma:

Kunitz-Crosby-Comrie
Cooke-Malkin-Kennedy
Talbot-Letestu-Asham
Rupp-Adams-Godard

The seven defensemen all rotated. (Looks like Letang and Goligoski are playing tonight)

LOL I find it ironic that "Captain Hook" is defending a comment about handless people.

So next time you have to say "hands that at times seem to lack such dexterity you could playfully say they don't exist"

But then again, you don't want to be offending the arthritic folk. I guess it's just such a sensitive world you can't afford to make jokes at all anymore.

Kid #4 eh...Congrats Doopers.

Wonder if his (potential) son will come out rockin' a mini pornstache. Just like his pops.

i actually think those are pretty decent lines. the first line is what was supposed to be since the signing of comrie. malkin isnt getting great wingers, but kennedy is capable of finishing off passes, and the 3rd is still annoying in a good way. worth a try all around

For the first time all season, I wouldn't change a single thing. I can't help but think that:

Cooke-Malkin-Kennedy will be more annoying to play against than Cooke-Staal-Kennedy

Learn it. Love it. You will be a lot less angry in general at things adults say when you do.

Although, to be fair, I'm not entirely sure how they'd show their displeasure at such a joke....
