NOVEMBER SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

It takes willingness to block shots. You get in the lane and sacrifice your body for the team.
There’s really no skill about it.
- Dan Girardi

I'm sure the crowd was thinking, "Here we go again, they can't win in this building".
I was kind of hoping the puck would find me. It was nice the way it came to me.
It was a good boost for our team at the right time of the game.
- Erik Christensen

I don’t think you ever anticipate seven straight games with a point.
But I was comfortable with my game early on in the season.
I was getting the opportunities, I knew it was just a matter of time.
And right now I’m getting the bounces, and our line’s playing well together.
- Ryan Callahan

The NYR Lineup is not 100% confirmed. Just getting that out of the way.

Eric Christensen's quote is a confident one and I love to see that because he has a confidence problem.

Dubinsky beats up on Richards.
Flyers beat up Rangers.

If Hank starts tommorow night does he play against Debbies on Friday?

I have Bobrovsky starting for me on my fantasy team. He's been doing rather well for me. Still hoping he loses to NYR.

Well, I had a test scheduled for last Friday that would have run from 600-800 (I would've been out of there before game time), but some assface at my school decided to steal the test beforehand, the teacher found out, and it was canceled.

OF COURSE he reschedules the test for tomorrow night at 830. So I'll see the first period and then miss the rest of the game, very depressing.

Let's get a 60 minute road effort and make it three in a row again.

LGR

Hi Kings fan here.

Just checking in on Brian Boyle. I really liked his game in LA and think that we gave up on him too soon. I heard he was doing well for you guys and thought I would check.

Best of luck on the season and appreciate any input.

Sorry, found the other thread where you guys talk about him. Sounds like he is finally making the best of his shot. I knew he would, way too much skill and raw talent. Too bad my team didn't see it. Big guys just take a little longer to develop.

Oh well.

He was pathetic here last season, at least the last half of the season he was. Seems torts lit a fire under his ass this season though.

He wasn't "pathetic" per se, but he wasn't playing like he is now, getting chances.

He's been a completely different player from last season. Always liked Boyle. Was a big fan of his before he was traded to the Rangers. And I was watching the draft, when I saw the Rangers traded for Brian. I was ecstatic, yet surprised at the same time. I knew the potential he had, and knew he would find his niche here eventually.

People were complaining during the season about the third round pick we traded for him(lol, I know, but that's how Ranger fans are)halfway through last season, as he was underwhelming for what he can actually bring. Fans were basically writing him off, and the impatience of the fanbase bothered me, because of what I knew Boyle could bring. It seemed like I was the only Boyle fan on the planet.

As of now, he's been doing special things. He's using his massive size to take over shifts, destroying players with big hits. He has great hands for a guy his size, and he has a hard shot. The offensive part of his game is incredibly underrated. He's a good passer, can read the play in the offensive zone, has good vision, can crash the net, he can do anything you want. Now, if only Torts could see this and play him with Gaborik, maybe he could play to his potential. I only say this because of our extreme thinness down the middle.

All in all, it's been an up and down type of thing for Boyle, but he's been successful so far this season. One of the best Rangers on the ice every night.

This. Lundqvist needs all the rest he can get this month, we don't go more than a day without a game this month.

He wasn't producing, he wasn't using the body and played like he was the same height as marty St.Louis minus the skill set

Thats pretty damn bad IMO.

They didn't really give him a role, they just threw him on the 4th line. I remember in a game against Buffalo last year, where he went around the defenseman with great speed and almost scored. I knew he could do that consistently, and he's only showing so far this year, he can.

LGR!
Most of us should be ok with this if it's for a few games. I think both likely need to be eased into some minutes and the two had chemistry together that perhaps the coaches are hoping the two will find. Maybe you'd prefer they be given top minutes with Frolov or the BAR line gets split? Or give up on them after just 1 game on the 4th line and send them down to Htf. Again it;'s been what 1 or 2 games of 4th line? Let's calm down here. In another 8-10 that;s when the thinking likely needs to shift to give them extra minutes in AHL.
