New Bruins Goal Song?

I was listening to the radio today and heard a good song that I thought may make a good goal song in an arena for fans to sing along.

After watching the Blackhawks and Flyers play these playoffs, I really liked how unique their songs were that brought the fans singing to their feet. In Boston, it is the same old song that many other teams use (Toronto for instance) and perhaps it is time to find a new one to use?

Anyone have any songs they think are in the celebrating spirit that emphasize scoring in the NHL that they could suggest?

Cheers

I know a majority of us on here are alternative/rockers and have that as our goal music, but the current one is techno afterall.

This is the one I heard and I am talking about it playing at :43 seconds in.

The crowd singing along, and the 'Oh My God' part at the beginning playing while they are showing the highlight...make sense?

Hell, the crowd clapping and singing along to it could get pretty loud, and it is new and different from the regular crap everyone plays.

Suggestions?

:43 seconds in...looped from the :43 to the 1:04 mark and repeat.

I'm all for good hip hop, but I couldn't stand to listen to the god awful sound of an Autotuned voice everytime we score a goal.

Think it works with jsut hte one 'Oh my God' and right into the chanting? Try from the :50 to the 1:04 only...that less annoying?

Bro Hymn by Pennywise. I think Philly uses it already though.

Yup. That is their goal song. Unique and you know you are in Philly when the goal is scored. Great song, but taken.

Another one from one of the best bands out there now, Metric, with their song 'Stadium Love'...

...about :55 seconds in. Toronto band. Hooting reminds me of Rick Flair...lol.

0:24 to 0:47

I always thought this would work; not for every goal, but who says you can only have one goal song? Once in a while, mix it up....tying goals, maybe?

O, wait, the Bruins won't be trailing in any games this year....

I was looking at the exact same thing, but hard for the crowd to sing along/clap to. I like it as an after-fight song actually lol.

Anything that has chanting/singing along/clapping without words is gold but Chicago and Philly have the best by far so far.

Looking at Dropkick songs right now...

And you have to give credit to Montreal as well for their Ole theft. You know where you are when that chant comes up too...

...unless you are in Philly.

Just ship it up to Boston. I don't see why the simplest answer can't be the best. The instrumental refrain on that song would be as good a goal song as any.

Do you mean, 'Shipping up To Boston'? I always agreed, but many will tell you that the Red Sox have pretty much hijacked that song for their own.

Vancouver fans would agree with you, as well as any other team that has lost in their rink. More of the beauty of singing it and having others hate it like they hate the 'WHOOOOO!' Bruins fans scream.

It's just the lame song that has to go...

Me either. Especially when they lit us up in Chicago earlier last season. I wanted to throw my remote through the TV

What's wrong with the drop kick murphys song they already play sometimes at the games? Regional pride. And people already love to sing along to it at the games.

Zombie nation doesn't really make sense to me.

Also play Dio's Holy Diver after penalty calls against the Bruins when they play the Habs.

If the opening 20 seconds aren't full of triumph and glory, then I don't know what is.

Sam Roberts, 'Where have all the Good People Gone?' at 3:37 in...

I have been to four of his concerts and the crowd goes nuts chanting this ending for about 3 minutes. You lose your voice...

great pre-game song, and adding it to team list. But it doesn't have anything to sing/chant along with and clap like the others.
