EXCELLENT win! Two biggest reasons were Hank and Dubi of course, but still a solid win and Dubi is tied for first in the league for goals

Chico did his absolute best in trying to jinx that shutout. Had it been Marty, he wouldn't dare mention it. It's a true show of a ridiculously homer announcer. I really can't stand the man as a color commentator.

I've never in my life hear a secondary guy mention shutout that many times in one sitting - I was embarrassed for him.

I will sleep well knowing that he'll lose sleep tonight over it. What a tool.

Great showing by Dubi, Devils look listless.

Enjoy Kovy's contract, maybe he's a locker room cancer?

Nice bounce back win. Dubinky is the antithesis of Frolov right now.

With Cally out on top of all the "regular" injured, this would have been a game for Frolov and Fedotenko to show up... at least Fedotenko battled tonight. Can't say I am too sad that both are only on 1-year deals...

Devils fans making predictions that we won't make the playoffs.

Pretty funny since we're missing Gaborik, Prospal, Callahan, and Drury. Those are literally 4 of our best players

And we still managed to shut them out

exactly why, although happy we won, not excited about playing the next quality team on the schedule.

the powerplay continues to be a big problem.

on the other hand, dubinsky is becoming a true player. very happy for this guy this season. hes making me eat some massive crow.

and sauer continues to impress. he plays a quiet game but always seems to be in control and looking to make his opponent feel some pain.

frolov needs to stop being higgins

so did I. LOL

I just dropped him during tonight's game. I only picked him up off waivers for this week to fill in for an injured player. I still get credited with his 1 assist, +1 and 1 blocked shot from tonight's game. He's a dog. Zero hits in his last 4 games.

Sauer is the man. I've been saying for 2 years he needs to be playing with the big club every night.

Frolov is still pissing me off.

Eminger and Sauer solid (especially Sauer), Gilroy on the outside looking in...

Man, I hope Boyle is OK, cus Hartford is like 2-6-2 and not a single player would warrant a call-up, they're all playing like **** down there...

Good game. Can someone tell me why that delay of game wasn't called during the 2nd period?

Yeah that's as bad as 1 poster in their GDT calling us talentless hacks. Well they just got shutout by those talentless hacks.

at least when frolov is being a "waste" hes cycling/grinding down low and keeping the puck in the offensive zone and tiring the defense....whites just invisible.

reading the devils board is funny...

"They did nothing to impress me tonight against a Devils team with a 25% AHL roster and no Brodeur. They had little offense and were fortunate on 2 of the 3 goals. They lost 41 of 59 faceoffs to one of the worst faceoff teams in the NHL."

yeah.. it's not like we're missing our two best scorers from last season and our best scorer in this season + one of our best defensive players.

You know if one of the worst things we have to complain about right now is Frolov's play I feel like we're in pretty good shape. It's not like he's atrocious. I think he's just starting slow and also he doesn't really have a set line yet. He's been moved around all over the place.

Guess who will be RFAs at the end of the season?
Callahan
Dubinsky
Anisimov
Boyle
Sauer

That's going to be an expensive summer if they continue like that. Gilroy too is an RFA, but he won't break the bank the way he's playing...

If frolov had any luck he'd have none at all, as shown by that empty net he missed - i'm not ready to give up on him yet
