NOV 6TH, 2010 ACC Leafs (5-5-2) Vs Sabres (3-8-2) HNIC(HD)

TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS VS. BUFFALO SABRES
NOV 6TH, 2010 AIR CANADA CENTRE

Projected Sabres lines:

Forwards
Jochen Hecht-Derek Roy-Jason Pominville
Thomas Vanek-Tim Connolly-Patrick Kaleta
Tyler Ennis-Rob Niedermayer-Drew Stafford
Cody McCormick-Paul Gaustad-Mike Grier

Defense
Jordan Leopold-Steve Montador
Shaone Morrisonn-Tyler Myers
Craig Rivet-Andrej Sekera

Goalies
Patrick Lalime
Jhonas Enroth

Scratches: Chris Butler, Mike Weber, Nathan Gerbe (jaw), Ryan Miller (lower body)

3rd Period Heroics from Grabo! Lets hope we don't need it this time round!

Leaf Keys:

- The Vaunted secondary scoring is showing up. All 4 goals on Wednesday were not scored by Kessel, MacArthur.

- Pressure the Sabres early, they are probably down on themselves for a bad start, and with homecrowd we need to snuff out any thought of them winning in Toronto.

- Possibly no Ryan Millar...need I say more!

I would rather us play against Ryan Miller. We make plug goalies look godly. Rather play against a super star and take it to him.

This will rather turn out boards into a complete rage fest, or be the start of a turn around.

Go Leafs!

Why can't we ever be happy about anything?

Getting to NOT face the reigning Vezina winner is a GOOD thing. Buffalo has been getting blasted lately.

I'll be at this game...Really hoping we actually show up.

For some reason we've always had trouble with Buffalo though. :-/

That's interesting for sure.

Sjostrom-Mitchell-Brown becomes the "checking line". Great speed and good size on that line. That's more of a good 4th line than a 3rd line, though.

The other "line" is interesting. Any of those 4 could be sat out. It would be interesting of Orr was left out of the lineup (which makes sense against the Sabres).

That first line has the potential to be a turnover machine/defensive nightmare.

Mitchell showed flashes of brilliance last game, hopefully he continues to develop into that #1 centre we need him to be.

Leafs got off a quick start by taking advantage of their opponents missing key individuals.

Leafs success verses Buffalo has not been good lately, but Leafs need to rack up 2 points capitalizing on Sabres missing Ryan Miller for this game.

Leafs have lost 7 of their last 8 games, dropped to 12th in the Eastern Conference, and really need to start putting another winning streak together.

Go Leafs!
Guys like Biron and Roloson play good against T.O., but they have generally been good goalies for their careers. Lalime is not, and has never been a good goalie, if we draw him the Leafs should count their lucky stars.

This is about right. Miller has been our kryptonite in years prior, so getting Enroth or LOLime will be a nice break.

Also, we get to see the always interesting Schenn vs Myers rivalry. After Myers took it last year Schenn seems to be playing a hell of a lot better this year.

Mess I think what you meant to say is they've lost 4 of their last 5 games.

Go Leafs GO.

Our guys always try really hard so I hope it pays off this game.

And I can't believe some of you would rather face Miller. No Thank you.

Miller is 22-8 against us with a ridiculous save percentage. Leafs need to take advantage of not having to face him.

**** Wilson is a MORON!

Why is he going with the top line of versteeg-bozak-kessel? Really, this line has NOT clicked at all this season, why continue to force the issue, I thought Wilson want size on the top line, why the f_ck is Versteeg. a 5'10 midget on the top line opposed to players like Kulemin or Bozak who are 6'2.

Secondly why in the world is he scrubbing in Mitchell on the 3rd line, doesnt this knobhead know that Mitchell is a poor excuse for an NHL'er?

Thirdly Hanson is a centre, why is he a winger on the 4th line
