USHL Imports spots

A question for those of you who follow the teams more closely: Which teams have import spots still available at this time?

if the rule is still 2 non US players per team -- should be simple to figure out based on their rosters here:

When did Fargo have 2 open up? Yevenko has been with them all season and they have that kid Folin or Folem from Sweden.

***Edited...Yevenko played for them last year and thus does not count as an import...probably should have looked that up before responding and I'll leave this up to always remind that I should...

Folin was sent to the NAHL for whatever reason. Coach Herter is an idiot.

I saw the kid skate earlier in the year...he's a player, I thought.

When did he make this move?

Yea, he's a gopher recruit. Absolutely moronic to send him away.

He got sent to the NAHL when Fargo traded Garrett Allen to Chicago for Ian Young. Another god awful move as Ian Young has two left feet and Fargo has enough pure puck moving Dmen to QB 6 power plays now.

Jason loves his D and you cannot argue with his success[es].

Young is the indy Colorado kid [via Texas]? 1992 birth year? Not a bad skater. He's just, well, young - excuse the pun.

He loves puck movers. Fargo has like 4 of em every night. It's awful. And success? This is the worst Fargo has done since becoming a team, with by far the most talent in the league. I mean, he got put in a crappy situation when the other coach-whose-name-I-wont-even-say, bailed on the team two weeks before opening night, but his player personnel moves have been awful. Folin is just an example.

Young is an awful skater, falls down numerous times every game, cant skate backwards a lick. That trade and moving Folin in the process was just terrible.

I knew him from the 92 youth level. I thought he was a good player then.

I've seen Fargo a few times this year...they look like the same methodical team to me that they've always been. I saw them spank Waterloo around Halloween and I think they had 6 or 7 different scorers.

Second place in the standings is the kind of lack of success that most other teams would love to have.

4 points ahead of the fifth place team....with FIVE more games played.

Folin played tonight for Fargo, so they now have 1 import spot left. Tri-City added a kid from Russia, so they have none left.

If an import plays a 2nd season, he technically "doesn't count" so a team can bring in 2 new imports. 3 is the most any team can have at any time, I believe. I can't remember what happens if an import stays for a 3rd year and a rookie stays for a 2nd.

Ummmm.... how? He somehow made it from Owatonna to play in that game and then scooted down to Sioux City and played in someone elses' jersey? I watched the Sioux City game and I assure you there was no Folin jersey and he didn't steal someone else's either.

It was probably Farley. IN fact, I'll go out on a limb and say it WAS Farley.

Probably. I checked pointstreak and Farley does have the same number Folin had, so most likely lack of research done on the radio guy's part.

Not surprising. Fargo is run by complete morons all around that organization, at least they are running a guaranteed win night promotion!

"Saturday night is guarantee win night! If the Force win Saturday night @ 7:05pm vs Dubuque Fighting Saints then everyone gets a free ticket to the Jan. 17th game!"

Yes, nothing says "Guaranteed Win" like only getting a free ticket IF the team wins.
