Luongo for Canucks, Howard (who played last night in Edmonton) for Detroit. Osgood supposedly still hurt.

Detroit is a good team, but the Canucks are better. The way we are playing right now, there no reason why we should lose to a team who played yesterday. Canucks win 4-2.

Goals:
Kesler (2)
Burrows
Ballard

Goals:
Datsyuk
Bertuzzi

any word on Hamhuis?? these are the type of games we signed him for! and if you think theres a goalie contreversy in Vancouver then you either dont know hockey, not a canuck fan or easily manipulated by the media...yu pick because only in HF is a rookie goalie with 5 wins under his belt is better than a Gold Winning Goalie, multiple gold world championships and the 2nd most career shutouts in active goalies on Earth.

I hope that means Hughson is doing PBP for tonight.

Ha, was at a Victoria Salsa game once at the old memorial arena, puck flew over the glass straight at my head didn't flinch or move a bit and it missed my face by inches. For a split second i was thinking "that was awesome" then the puck hit the guard rail behind me, bounced back and smoked me in the back of the head, so lame.

I have a feeling that the Canucks win streak will end tonight.

Detroit wins 3-2.
Burrows and Samuelsson score for the Canucks.

Pretty sure there is no doubt it will be Luongo. The second you start Schneider 2 games in a row, unless Luongo is injured, is when the team is acknowledging that there is a goaltender controversy. I seriously doubt they let that happen this early in the season, when we are on a 5 game win streak, and Luongo had a shutout his second to last game, and won his last.

We need to keep up that hard-working, in your face brand of hockey we've been starting to play consistently over the last few periods. Keep the hits coming, the legs moving, and drive that forecheck.

I think we can beat Detroit; especially at home.

Third road for the DRW and they have won the other two, at least they are not desperate.

I predict a win, mostly because of our D looking better and better the last games. It would be nice with Raymond and Samuelsson getting a goal each in this game, outlandish but still.

It means there's a double rainbow.

That and I'm pretty sure the Montreal game is going to be shown in the West at 4pm Pacific on CBC.

He looked pretty good in the clips on Sportsnet Connected last night. He said it's improving much more quickly now and he should be back very soon.

Do you know where in the arena? I'll be 2nd row behind the penalty box. Should be a beauty of a game!

Any word on the Detroit lineup?

Red Wings looked pretty great last night with those hard accurate passes. This should be a great game.

No measuring stick games for the Canucks. Let's see how the Wings measure up against the Canucks!
