Is this gonna be the national game? I sure hope so. I don't want to have to watch the Leafs and Sabres bumble through an entire game together.

I don't think this is a national game. At least not in hi-def. I have Bell Expressvu, and I see it on about 6 std channels, and not one hi-def. Of course, being Saturday, I don't even get it on my damn center ice hi-def channels.

Thanks a lot you *^)&% CBC!!! I hate watching it in std def.

A win would be really nice because we haven't really beaten any of the better teams.

Beat: PHX, FLA, TOR, NYI, BUF

All pretty weak teams. 5 of our 6 wins came from there.

Only team in our range was the Hurricanes, and they were on a long ass road trip across half the earth.

Beaten by: MTL, BOS, WAS

BOS and MTL both shut us out.

We have to win this game on the fact that we can actually get by a better team. We can't just prey on the weak clubs.

Another loss to MTL means we're not as good as our record states (even though we're only at a mediocre .500)

Agreed, this is a statement game.

Don't think I can bear to watch us lay another egg on HNIC.

Oh Saturdays, they're supposed to be so exciting for hockey but having to watch the game in standard def just kills it for me.

How is Phoenix (107 pts. last year in the West) weak, while Montreal (88 pts. in the East) is strong?

Phoenix would almost certainly make the playoffs in the East.

Well hopefully the Sens with fresher legs come out flying.

Grind em out like the Isles and all should be well.

I think he means weak teams coming out the gate this season.

Coyotes are last in their division with 11 points. (4-5-1) Probably the best team we beat so far though.

The all canadian matchup from Montreal is the national game believe it or not! Ontario, except Ottawa, gets Buffalo at Toronto (a lame game). A reality check has hit the CBC.

Yes, it is sad that the CBC will not drive its eastern HD truck to Montreal. That means RDS to the rescue.

Confirmed. Cable guide showing Montreal/Ottawa listed for the game tonight. Burke must have asked CBC to not make it national, don't need the extra pressure on his team.

Lets not get shutout tonight, 4-3 us tonight. Is Kuba in the line-up tonight? or 9MM? That would be beaut if both are in.

Ottawa wins this one. They are going to be jacked to show MTL that they are a force in the Northeast. This is gonna be a great game, MTL isn't playing great right now and Ottawa will be looking to dominate every aspect of the game, beating them on the score board and physically.

Lets win this, we're putting together a nice little streak here, it could be beneficial in getting us into the thick of the race.

Also wtf... Fisher leads all fwds in ice time.
Like seriously, what the ****ing ****.
