IMO, Kopitar doesn't belong on this list. Kopi can make big power/reach moves, but he can't stick handle in a phone booth.

PS - that hipster Gretzky meme is hilarious!

They've both pulled some nifty plays since I said this.

Ha I googled best danglers in the NHL and this thread popped up. Datsyuk and Kane are on their own level IMO

I'd be hesitant to google best danglers...

Many of the names here are great. The Sharks' best is Havlat.

I've only seen one mention of Mike Ribeiro. Wow.

He's easily one of the best danglers in the league. Guy's got sick hands.

Of course, Datsyuk and Kane are probably the top 2.

Hemsky and Eberle both have pretty soft hands, but neither of them can finish plays.

Not in order but the top danglers id say are:
Datsyuk
Kane
Kopitar
Omark ( sleeper pick )
Giroux
Malkin

These are on an another planet:
Datsyuk (One of the best danglers that ever played in the NHL with Kovalev)
Kovalev (see above)
Kane (he's finally getting his slick hands to work this year)
Nash (his dangling is underrated, watch him in Sotchi on the big ice)

Really good at dangling :
Giroux (always getting out of trouble with dekes)
Malkin (no words needed)
Ribeiro (smooth hands, so natural)
Tavares (nobody can steal a puck from him)
Jonathan Drouin (Not in the NHL yet, but the puck sticks on his stick, literally)

I don't know if you would call it a "dangle" but Grabovski seems to get into the zone everytime.

If regulation ice was the size of bathtub this debate would be a chess match between Datsyuk and Kane.

HM to Kadri. Guy has unreal hands. He shows it during games but you can tell he's been told to tone it down. Only a matter of time before he's doing some highlight reel Dastyuk-like goals.

Havlat was once an all world dangler, moves other guys wouldnt even try.

ah, that was a thing of beauty.
Spezza undresses Souray, has time to fold his clothes then double down on the goalie.

Karlsson somehow became insane between last year and this year. He dangles like Kovalev used to, but with a MUCH higher success rate.
