im not sure you can freeze the puck like that with no pressure. The Caps announcers may be right on that one. Not sure about the strap malfunction being the out for Bobrovsky.

Perhaps this is the best response:

Quote:

Figured as much, you need to wait for a stoppage. I mean, I understand why Bob wanted/needed to do something about that, but should have been a penalty.

If Giroux is 2-10 today in the circle, why not just put Carter there

Briere had the primary assist leading to the 2nd goal... (even though it was the 2nd, he set that play up).

That last statement explains why most goalies will sit on the bench with his gloves and blocker.

Because he's a natural center.

If you are going to complain, at least complain about Shelley or Carcillo, not Carter and briere. Makes you lose all creditability.

They're right, but the one guy didn't need to go on and on and on about it.

OK boys, decent period, but could be a whole lot better.

Win the 3rd, win the game.

Briere made a beautiful pass that set up goal #2. Zherdev scored goal #1. You're going to bench Carter for Wellwood?

Very bad game by our team. Nothing from Carter. If not for Bobrovsky we would be in deep **** right now.

Why did we need Shelley in this one?

oh I know. we get it. the refs blew it. let it go and move on. not like we didnt do anything anway with the PP chance. outside of a handfull of minutes this hasnt been a great weekend. we got lucky yesterday. we continue to play like this it might be asking a lot for Bobrovsky to bail us out again

I count 1 period in the last 5 that we outplayed the competition. Not good enough. Bob can only do so much. 11 on an ECHL're? not good enough
