Best Player Avalaible, but in the case of a toss-up we could probably use more forward depth. With 11 picks I'd probably go 5/6 F, 5/4 D, 1G.

We definitely need some big, fast, skilled, hard working forwards and we also need giant defensemen like Valabik and Schultz

No offense, but I really don't see the need for Schultz. He's not a physical presence and he doesn't play that great defense.

Hmm.

Hmm.
He can become a very good 2 way defenseman, who is extremely tough to beat due to his reach and size. And I think he is a bit more physical than some critics claim. But he doesn't have to throw big checks every shift to be a very good defenseman.

BPA all across the board, at every pick, even if it means we pick 11 defensemen or 11 RWs in this draft.

best player available should be best skater available since we don't need goalies

Couldn't hurt picking up one more netminder. Blackburn and/or Lundqvist might not pan out (which IMO is pretty unlikely). Even so, having another goalie in the system gives us another tradeable asset down the line. If one of the good goalies is still on the board in the 2nd round or if we see someone we like in the later rounds I figure why not? With 11 picks it can't hurt to take one goalie, as long as it's not in the first round.

That's fine, but goalie should not be priority.

BPA unless its Montoya. If we draft a goalie, we won't have very much bargaining strenght to trade 1 of our 3.
