If it's not too much trouble could I get some opinions/comparisons between OEL and Erixon? I have Erixon in my SIM league and was thinking about dealing for OEL, but was wondering if I would not be better off just waiting for Erixon. Any idea when Erixon will try to make the jump to the NHL?
ps Why we are at it...different positions, but if you had to give up one of these prospects in a deal, would it be Tedenby or Erixon?

I think OEL is one of the best young defensemen in the game. Once he bulks up his lanky frame he will be a force. His skating, passing, anticipation, poise, instincts and hockey sense are incredible for a kid his age. Erixon is a good player but I like OEL a lot more.
As for your second question - I would keep Tedenby over Erixon. In a recent interview with the Devils Zach Parise, he marveled at Tedenby as said "Tedenby tried stuff as a rookie that I would never been able to do. He will be a great player."
Both will probably be in lesser roles but still in the NHL this year, with some AHL time if they struggle. Oliver's got the higher ceiling and will probably reach prime ice-time faster than Erixon, who's got Giordano, Bouwmeester, Regehr as a pretty solidified top-3.
If Erixon is signed by calgary i think he have some good chance to crack their lineup, Staios, Carson,Babchuck are all free agents this summer. Any news if the Flames are willing to sign him this summer?
