If you're like me, you've been checking the chinese jersey sites, hoping to see the new Paajarvi/Hall/Eberle duds.
I thought I'd throw out several sites, and ask for feedback from those of you who have taken the plunge. Size/fit/quality/shipping info would be appreciated by all.
Haven't bought a fake before but the Eberle on ECseller looks pretty good. However, it looks like it's missing the RBK logo on the wrist and the Oilers logo is a tad small.
I don't have any experience with cheap jersey sites, but if I were you I'd just save up to get one you know is legit. In the long run you'll be much happier you waited a little longer to get a good one than spending $40 on something just because it kinda looks like the real thing.
I would never have considered buying a knock-off until these Rbk jerseys came along. Piece of crap. At least for $150 CCM or Koho or even Nike were well made and could last you for years.

It's a knockoff of the pro jersey, hence no wrist logo. The Oil logo is small for sure, though.
Horrible. Lettering not centered, nameplate size is wrong.
Stay away.
Lots of monstrosities on these sites. Often the sellers just stick with a photo of their first version on their site, while they sell a much better revision to customers.

Spend $350 on a pro customized, or $50-60 on a knockoff. If you're a collector, go expensive. If you're looking to wear it without fretting over a stain, go cheap.

Exactly. The old semi-pros are quality. The new semi-pros are every bit as prone to snags, rips, and stains as the knockoffs.

$350 would be for an authentic jersey. Lots of people just get the replicas, which are good. I think the shoulder logos on the replicas are screenprinted, which sucks, but since the Oilers don't have shoulder logos it doesn't matter.
Jersey City sells customized player replica jerseys for $210. Game On Sports has Hall, Eberle, and Paajarvi jerseys for $200.

I ordered some team canada jerseys from EC Seller after the Olympics. They took forever, communication with the seller wasn't great and they were ultimately siezed by the RCMP at the border.
As an individual with a professional designation I didn't want to run the risk of the RCMP seizing another set of conterfeits being delivered to my address. When I enquired about a cash refund the seller was not open to it (understandably from his viewpoint, he'd lost his merchandise as well).
In the end I was able to recover my money from Paypal. I would be weary of this site however. Shortly after it appeared that the site had been shut down and could not be accessed by users in Canada. Not sure if it has opened back up since then.
on the main board we had the cheap jersey threads shut down, because it's apparently not allowed to talk about the cheap jersey sites, including the ones you listed. Its apparently illegal

Yeah. HFboards is a serious site. No funny business. I still don't agree with that though. People should post whatever they feel like they should post. It's not like Reebok sponsors HFboards, or that we claim that these sites are authentic. It's just HF trying to gain legitimacy. Looks silly to me.
I've had a few orders from Ecseller. Pretty good stuff. Got a great Columbus Nash Jersey from them.
I also had one order from Borntrade. Got a pretty good Doughty and a good Boston classic.
I haven't ordered a Oilers jersey from a fake site though, they mostly look sketchy and I don't have a problem paying full price for my favorite team. Although the Eberle looks pretty damn nice on ECseller.

I understand that, and I don't really care what people do myself. Their money.
However, the fake jerseys are bad looking. They are really easy to point out. The lettering is too big. The numbers look completely wrong (especially on the Hall one, where the Four looks different on the counterfeit than the authentic)

I'll leave it open for now.

I guess I'm lucky in that my brother lives in Beijing and inspects each jersey I get sent over.
He said there are countless factories pumping out jerseys that range from horrible, to actually authentic. Some of the factories are also subcontracted by RBK so they will literally sell ones with very minor defects out the back door for dirt cheap. And by minor defect, I mean a label is slightly crooked.
Thanks BBO. The main forum thread went into version 3 before it was killed, likely by a mod who has a memorabilia business, I'm sure. They get awfully cranky about not being able to gouge people. I'm pretty sure there's no rule against taking about these sites. If we can talk about streaming sites, buying jerseys is fine.
Fragon is on the money. Some sites sell with slight defects. Those are the ones I'm after. There are hundreds of garbage-quality jersey sites - which I'm not going to bother to mention.
