Frolik to Matthias followed by Matthias to Frolik... God we've been waiting for this since 2006...

Booth looks a bit frustrated tonight. He's had a lot of shots on goal for sure.

Hopefully you viewed the Leafts GDT. Always fun to read those posts

Frolik liked Pierre on TSN. calling him the "baby Jagr". Bryan Allen the "Monster performer of the night".

Booth had a great night, looked like he was even a tad slow at times but great chances where Monster just stoned him all night. TSN. spoke very highly of Wideman too tonight, three pucks off his face tonight. Frolik is really coming along now. Matthias looked good at both ends of rink, becoming that complete player we all hope he will eventually become...imagine him playing with all world talent type player, his game would explode.

I love it when you beat a team so badly they have to fire their coach! Doubly so when it's the Laffs!

What's the over/under on Ron Wilson getting the axe before the Laffs take the ice next game?

They also said, "imagine this team with a Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on it, Wow!"

Matthias and Frolik looked great together.
Santorelli and Booth looked great together.

Can we keep those two lines together for a little while? See what happens...

Vokoun looked like Vokoun, again. That was great.

In terms of the bad, Ellerby really struggled tonight.

Matthias showing that two-way promise he had at the end of his junior career in Belleville. The guy can flat out game if he gets it all together. The wheels and hands on that breakaway were a thing of beauty. He's got a big frame and uses it to his advantage down low(first glance it appears to mesh well with Frolik and Weisser). The only thing is consistency. We need to see this effort out of him every single night. If we get that effort out of him AND Fro every night, we'll see a LOT more W's than L's. This is that skill/offensive dynamic quotient we appear to have been missing the first couple of games.

Overall solid group effort in a game where we should win. Normally in the past these were games were easy let-downs for us.

This is so true. Whenever the panthers beat a team soundly that team either A. Goes on a tremendous losing streak or B. Shakes up the coaches or rosters. This is true when we beat calgary this year and it wouldnt suprise me if the leafs make a move in the next couple of days. I guess for some reason when the panthers can beat your team you know the **** has hit the fan.

I just realized something. Didn't Burke give up a 1st in this year's draft as well for Kessel? Wasn't it a 1st and 2nd last year and a 1st this year (or something like that). Could you imagine if TO finishes last again. Add an RNH, Couturier, or Larsson to the Bruins?!? Kessel is a great player, but wow!

Yes.
If Toronto finishes in the lottery this year, Burke has certainly done a great job rebuilding the Bruins for the next two decades.
