At his age he's gotta be an RFA at the end of his current contract.

Bobby Butler's achievements in the AHL are astounding. Luke Adam has 1 more goal than he does, but he was a 2nd rounder and a high-up Buffalo prospect. I don't Butler gets enough airtime around here, this guy appears to be the real deal. I've heard a few favourable comparisons to Shawn Mceachern.

I'm pretty excited too - its great to see a forward prospect producing.

It's funny that he doesn't get too much airtime - but its also good that people aren't expecting him to centre the first line like Bozak. I think he'll get a lot out of the AHL - if he makes the jump earlier so be it but this will all just make him a better player in the long run

Yeah, he needs to beef up a little too. I see him listed at 6' and 180, but I think that might even be generous. I had the chance to briefly meet him at the Fan Night or whatever - and he looked pretty small to me. Gain 10 more pounds regardless of the height and NHL here you come.

Silfverberg and Rundblad are the two youngest players on the team... awesome. Kruger and Ekholm are also 1990's but 5 months older. Clearly that means our prospects are better.

I doubt he does.. If he left while in a familiar environment while having great success that IMO would be pretty dumb..

In my opinion how he is playing with Locke shows great promise if he is, in the future, paired with Spezza. (Which I think he will be).

It is too early to say, but I think in a year or two or earlier Bozak vs. Butler will

Apparently Sweden came back in the third and won 4-3. Our guys were not goal scorers, not sure if they assisted on any goals.

Google translate can be blamed for any errors!

No points for Silfverberg or Rundblad. Still, Silfverberg and his line impressed me, probably Swedens best line.
And I said in another thread:

Rundblad had a lot of PK minutes but none in the PP. what the..?

They had Magnus Johansson and Ekholm on the top PP from what I saw. I guess Ekholm is there cause he's a lefty (and quite good). I saw Rundblad make a few really nice outlet passes when I watched. Silfverberg was feisty and was mixing it up with a few Czechs. He's got great size and wheels. IMO his game is much more suited for North America.

We got no points.

I watched part of the third and Rundblad had a good chance and Silfverberg almost got the rebound but the defencemen did well to tie him up

He also forced a pile of turnovers by just working hard and never giving up on a play. His line probably could have had a couple more goals tonight but Medicine Hats goalie played very strong(don't let the score fool you)

Bobby Butler with another 2 goals in Binghamton tonight... I think it's time for Shannon to get injured!

I want to believe, but forgive me for being wary of former college stars with the initials BB who light it up in Bingo.

If he keeps this up it's going to be pretty hard to deny him a shot though.

I find this incredible. 12 goals in 14 games as a rookie. Even if he hits the NCAA brick wall halfway through the year, he's gonna score 25+ goals.
