When I do that, I know I can be successful and I can be a great asset to this team. I want to keep us pushing forward."

That’s not a firm, strong opinion obviously, it’s just my opinion. It has a little bit of weight, but it doesn’t carry everything. So we’ll discuss it and we’ll see where it comes out. - - That’s the way you have to do it. That’s the right way. That’s the way the young guys are drafted. You sit there as a scout, and you’re viewing over a couple years and trying to project who is going to fit in your organization some day. That’s where I do see Schenn as a player. He’s going to be on your top two lines. He’s a very intelligent guy. He’s creative. He’s got that gritty game that plays along the boards well. With Clifford, I see him as a third-line left winger with the ability to move up for short periods of time. I’ve really enjoyed watching him improve here, since the training camp started this year. His physical makeup is that of a man. He is so mature, in that part of it. His testing has overwhelmed everybody in just about every area. His intelligence, his hockey adaptation to the NHL game is getting better. He’s hungry, he talks, he asks questions in meetings when watching video. He’s not just listening. `What about this? What about if I do that? I need to be better.’ That’s great stuff for a guy that’s 19 years old. So those kinds of inquisitive questions, he’s going to apply it. It’s going to work in practice, and next thing you know, it’s going to work in a game for him."

LET'S GO KINGS !!!

- Next HOME Game -

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Need a strong showing for this one to put any doubt about our recent injuries to rest.

Another game after another long layoff. Kings usually struggle scoring after 3 or more days off.

If the Kings can play 0.500 hockey over the next month, I will be satisfied. Anything over 0.500 and I will be happy.

It's a factor for every player in a contract year. At least he's honest about it.

Kinda funny the Ducks are only one point behind us now; except we have four games in-hand.

Hopefully we can take care of the Stars and finish this week with two strong wins.

No Ponikarovsky + No Mitchell = weaker PK (and a weaker team overall). Stay out of the box = win.

Finally, a game! I'm always nervous about games after long breaks. I said that after the last long break, and we won, so hopefully the same applies.

Well the Kings are 4-0-0 in games that i've seen less than 1 period of, and I have to leave at 8:00. So that bodes well.
