11/14/10 - Wild vs. Stamkos and the Bolts...GDT

Cuando: 4 pm
Donde: St. Pete Times Forum

Minnesota Wild:

A summary of the road trip so far through the balmy Southeast:

Tampa Bay Tampa Bay:

They have these guys:

Game facts:

- We can't score 5 on 5.
- I've Seen Stamkos. And he's good.
- Steve Yzerman was almost our GM.
- Brent Burns will eat pressbox popcorn today.
- Nik Backstrom will probably keep our anemic offensively challenged team in the game.

Opposition GDT.

There's is better because I just popped my GDT-making cherry

i likes it. short, but alright. yeah, we're going to be toast. At least Havlat will get a good look at what a high powered, motivated scoring forward looks like and soak in a little of that magic.

Wild win this one 3-2 but I don't know how.

Maybe because Dan Ellis is too worried about his fiscal problems and lets in some softies?

Brent Burns goes off and scores two goal as our forwards can't...oh never mind.

We lose 4-2 to them.

Stamkos nets 2, Lecavier gets 1, Malone get 1
Scoring for us: Koivu and Cullen...probably on the PP

I'm gonna cry because I work during the game.

Safest prediction in hockey today: Stamkos scores.

That's almost as safe as just seeing Stamkos.

I hope he scores three, just so he can be above the goal per game mark.

Of course that would mean the Wild would have to score four, and without Burns...

I thought Vincent was going to have surgery to repair his hand?

He is, but given how the Wild have played recently that won't stop him from scoring three or four from the pressbox.

Vinny is out for a few weeks with a hand injury so that's one less guy to worry about. Must win game to salvage some of this road trip. Wild win 3-2.

Is Gorg growing a mustache for Movember or is he just a 13 year-old boy?

13 year old boy for sure. At least he is trying, Terhaar won't even give it a go.
