Did someone seriously just imply that the Flyers only won because of MFL? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ha.
I already made a thread about when the letdown game is, and i said it will be this game. Coming off a game last night, plus maybe a bit of cockiness since they easily handled the Canadians last time. Canadians are going to want revenge and being at home is going to rile them up combined with the flyers going to play tired/half assed. I easily see it.
Regardless, it's way too much for a rookie. Maybe we'll get lucky and have the next Brodeur, Kipper, Nabokov, Miller type that's a 70+ game starter. But none of them did it as a rookie.
No, he isn't. He's played 14 out of 18. That's a 64 game pace.
NHL's on pace stat is moronic. That would assume he's going to play every game from here on out. That's not "on pace".
I hope they don't pick this game to slack off. I've got tickets for this game. What's worse: the friend I'm taking with me is a huge Canadiens fan. Plus, my tickets are up in the low-IQ zone.
Hey man I'll be there aswell with my girlfriend, up in the blue zone! I'll be wearing my Richards jersey Go Flyers Go!
He carried the team by himself and was your MVP of the Eastern conference series.. and you know that is true.
Yeah, you're right, the fact that we're 9-0-1 in our last 10 without the help of Michael Leighton is a mirage. We're screwed. All hail Jesus Price, who carried the Canadiens last year, right?

He's not "on pace" for 78 games. He's started 14 of 18 games, and he's not gonna start every single game for the rest of the year. Jesus.
If you take 14 (games he's started) and divide it by 18 (the number of games we've played), and multiply that number by total games in a season (82), then you get 64. That's what he's on pace for.
To be on pace for 78, he'd have to start every single game for the rest of the season. Yea, not gonna happen.

So Leighton scored 6 goals in game 1 to win 6-0, 3 goals in game 2 to win 3-0, 3 goals in game 4 to win 3-0, and 4 goals in game 5 to win 4-2??? Oh yea I forgot. LEIGHTON MVP!!!!!! MVP!!!!!!! MVP!!!!!
