I don't have faith in Leighton against any quality offensive team or in the playoffs, but he should do fine in the regular season as long as his injuries haven't hampered him. Getting Leighton back gives us someone that can either log some games as a backup or carry the starter's load for a bit until Bob has had his fair share of time off.

I like Boosh and I think he doesn't get enough credit, but no one has confidence in him, including myself.
I agree. One thing to mention as well is the coaches seem to have much more faith in Leighton than boucher imo. Only a matter of time before Leighton goes back on ir after he returns sadly.

I agree. between the drive i'm sure Leighton feels to get back into games, and the training staff's past...I don't think his injury problems are over for this season.

I just saw something on the Crossing Broad blog that Hartnell says that he was being choked while he was at the bottom of a scrum. I think that I'd stopped watching by that time, does anyone know what happened?

I cannot believe the amount of attention being paid to the Richards-Subban thing. It's all over TSN. It's hilarious that this is getting so much play for a non-event.

Not that I pay attention to most of the opinions of the main board posters, but every time Richards makes a comment about a player, he's labeled as a whiner. I disagree I feel he's egging on PK and the Habs as well as the Flyers. What do you think?

I agree, it's just like when he made the comment about the Pens falling down a lot. It wasn't just a slam at them but a veiled slam against the refs for be fooled by the diving. I think PK should keep his eyes wide open Monday.

That's true, but this seems to have taken on a life of its own!

For the record though -- the TSN panel were discussing it. Both Peca and Barnaby agreed with Richards, and said that they've both been in situations where a veteran on the team has had to talk to a rookie to settle him down a bit. They both love PK's game and think he'll be a force in the league. Barnaby said something like "Roenick talked more than anyone in the league and has for 20 years, but when he was a rookie he wasn't like that - he had to grow into his persona, and PK needs to learn that too".

Pronger is awesome, but I love Price's response. He flipped the puck to a fan in the stands, and basically said "here's how much I care about the puck".

LMAO I love Pronger's quote at the end.

You have to love him because he's confident enough that he just wants to **** with people.

I can't wait till Monday night now. Hopefully Subban gets a butt end to the face. I say go after him all game long. Put Shelley out there to just hit players. They have no one on their squad that could stop us. Plus we get last change. I REALLY wish we had Carcillo for Mondays game.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not, but that is the best line I've heard from a Habs fan. Yes Flyer fans are the ones that take their team and sport too seriously...

Not a butt end. But hit legally - a lot - hell yes. And if someone wants to force him to drop the gloves, that'd be okay too.

But really, I'd much rather see the Flyers score a bunch of goals while PK is on the ice, and win the game.

Who said anything about wanting Richards to injure PK? Unless you're afraid he'll beat the living hell out of PK...

Regarding Richards' PK Subban comments. I don't understand how this is an issue or why you need to say something like that to the media? Let the child run his mouth, and focus more on scoring and stripping the puck from him when he forgets he is a defenseman and tries to dangle around your whole effin' team.

Kind of like this:

Usually that shuts them the **** up.
