Canucks suck through two periods, and win it in the third?

lets hope that 3rd period against the Leafs was just an anomaly because that was some really ugly hockey. Play like that against any other team and it's probably a loss.

Schneider apparently getting the start, I'm pumped

With our last game in mind I'm predicting it to be a close one, maybe a 3-2 victory. I'm getting worried about this defense however, we need to get Ballard back in and give some consistency to our defensive pairings. Can't wait till Salo is back and Bieksa gets traded the hell away.

The loss of Miller will do that.

This should be a good game I guess... Unless the team lulls through it again... Oh well a win is a win.

It's only a matter of time, however, until AV's sitting on leads burns us again.

Schneider starts in net I do believe, Buffalo looked reenergized against Washington last night.

3-2 shootout win for the Sabies

Myers and Ennis, Ennis also tallies the SO winner
Malhotra and Daniel with our goals.

to be fair, Bieksa has been very solid this season. He's had a few blunders here and there - as should be expected - but overall, he's been much better than most of us thought he would be.

As of right now (and we're still early in the season), Bieksa has been an asset to this blueline... for the first time in a couple years.

This is going to be loooooooooooooow scoring. Buffalo got their first home win last game against Washington. Miller is back. They'll be looking to keep this one close. Canucks win 3-1 with the 3rd goal being into an empty net.

Agreed with this, actually. If he can keep playing solid hockey like he is now, he actually has a place on this team on the 3rd pairing playing limited minutes. He's mobile and has puck rushing skills that I can admit play a part in the Canucks' offensive game. He also provides an option for the 2nd PP unit with his right handed shot and decent quarterbacking skills.

Honestly, I have no problem with him on the team at this point. As long as everyone is playing where they should be, that is.

Yeah, I haven't noticed Bieksa making too many boneheaded decisions the least couple of games. To be honest he made a couple of nice defensive plays against the Leafs last night if I remember correctly. It's good to see him not sucking as much but I'd like to see more offensive production from him.

Hopefully they get back to proper d pairings:

Edler/Ehrhoff
Hamhuis/Bieksa
Ballard/Alberts

That Alberts/Bieksa pairing that showed up here and there gave me heart palpitations.

Sedins + Burr are due for a big game again.

5-2 good guys.

he's been good but he still has those moments that could cost a team huge in the playoffs.

They are better off without him.

I'm one of the Bieksa bashers, but yeah he's been much better this season. Having said that, I don't trust him anymore and I'd move him for a good fourth line center as soon as Salo is ready.
