Brutal reffing tonight. They let it get out of hand by non calls on 3 flagrant dangerous plays. The hit on Halpern, the blindside on Gio and the back hit by Richards on Kostitsyn. The goonery at the end was laughable but really, the NHL should look at that kind of thing and fine Laviolette. We were there to play hockey, they wanted to send some sort of message... the message should be to them from the league... stop being goons. Tough hockey is one thing, but I spent most of the last couple minutes wondering if someone was going get injured by a cheap shot.
Loved PK's spunk, I want to see him fight I bet he's probably pretty tough.

Perfect game all around. One thing though....Picard is a 7th d-man. A 7th d-man is NOT a 6th d-man who'll end up playing regularly after an important injury. I believe we will have to move if Marky is gone for long.
Flyers fans can say what they want. They can try to say that they're classy and accept the loss, and how we brag. But we all know that if they won, all we'd hear is how they won two games in as many nights.

Yeah I've been saying it all along. He was signed as a 7th defenceman. That does not mean he fills in for a long term injury.

Like the one who also said that he didn't understand how that stupid crowd was singing since it was only a regular season game, and the ones who are complaning about the ole-ole-ole, a supposed non-hockey chant 'cause it seems there are laws about the songs you can or can't have based on the sports you're watching....
good game tonight... both teams looked good, but price was stellar. as far as the goonage goes, don't worry, philly fans hate shelley too and i don't think powe had malicious intent on either questionable hit. he has no track record of bad hits. looking forward to another good one in a week or so.

I don't think Powe had any intent either, but Richards does become a baby when he is losing. It's one thing to try and pump up your team, it's another to act like a dbag when your team is almost guaranteed to lose.
