Law....just ****ing brilliant. DP's GAA....the Isles rebuild....."We're all Islanders".....classic!

Isles lose 4-1 and Flounder yells "OH BOY IS THIS GREAT!!!" behind the bench.

Law, you deserve a round of applause for your "We Are All Islanders" and "Rebuild In Progress" artwork. That's amazing.

Does it make me a horrible person to wish for a loss tonight? I feel like if they win tonight, it will (at least temporarily) take the heat off of Wang and Snow with all the shenanigans they've pulled in the last week. I don't think they deserve to get off that easily. They should be made to squirm as long as possible. They need to know that the fanbase is rightfully pissed off and should be made to feel that they best do something about that if they want even a $18.87 ticket promotion to be sucessful.

Then again, a string of consecutive wins might have the same effect...

Can't take credit for that one, believe it was either JP or KC that came up with it. Too good though, had to use it.

EDIT: After some digging, it was Killer that came up with that gem.

I just hope they can score more than one goal.

For me, that'd be the first step back to normality.

Just so people know they're doing yet again another ticket promotion tonight. This time it's Hofstra radio night: $18.87 a ticket to tonights game and another $4 off if you have a student I.D.

Do you have a nice and nifty phone or something that'll let you post while your at the game?

Updates as to the crowd, chants, signs, and the real emotions in the building would be nice. (Its not like we're gonna get any "real" [read that as un-filtered] info as to what things are really like.)

Thanks for the laughs, Law!

I'll be at the game tonight too.. I agreed to these tickets when they were only on a 6 game losing streak. At least it's a night out with the friends and an excuse to drink.

I agree, wear a paper bag.

I know I am when I go to the game against the Devils.

I think, if I'm not working and can go to one of the games I already have tix for before X-Mas, I'll bring a sign that says "All I want for Christmas is a new Owner"

I will also be here tonight, hard to see 7 pucks going into the net, that means hearing Live is Life 7 times, which I have barely heard this year.

We all are aware of the massive problems this team has right now but I was looking at the lines per Newsday and is it me or are they constructed really badly?

The top unit in practice has Tavares centering Parenteau and Moulson.

The second unit has Weight centering Comeau and Bailey.

So two play makers are on the 2nd unit, and two finishers are on the top unit without a play maker..

My suggestion:

Top Line: Tavares Centers Bailey and Comeau
While Bailey and Comeau are struggling, it would do Tavares some good to have a play maker on his wing to feed him the puck. Comeau should also be shooting more. In addition, Comeau should use his body more to help create some space. Ideally, Id like to see Okposo in this position over Comeau when the time comes.

Second Line: Neilsen Centers Moulson and Martin
Here again, Neilsen is a solid 2-way center who passes well and can dish the puck off to Moulson who is a finisher. Martin has reasonable hands, and should be able to create some space for the other two.

In theory, each line should have a play maker, finisher and grinder with some hands who can create some space and go to the corners.

Putting the finishers all on one line, and play makers on another makes little sense.

Overall even without Lacavalier the Isles will need some luck tonight. More then anything else they need to get healthy.

P.S.
I am not reading that weight is banged up though he will play and Hillen has a concussion and is out unreal! The team seems to be made of glass!
