Florida trade?

Apologies if this was bought up already...

During his first tenure with the Panthers, Keenan looked as if he appreciated Kristian Huselius about as much as he appreciated Tony Amonte. Huselius is only 25 and has two 20 goal seasons in his first 3 years, though he only netted 10 last year. Now that Keenan is GM, any chance we can steal him cheap?

I think that the kid can be coached to provide better defense and would be a welcome addition in NY considering the roster needs more youth.
Especially if Iron mike wants him out of south florida.

If it comes to making a player better through coaching then this is not the right place for him.

We will trade Poti, #24 and #46 to FLA for the #7 and Huselius.

Kristian did great on defense. Not really good but to his old standards great. Yes he doesn't have good work etheic but I think that could change with a change of place. Iron Mike does want him out of Florida by the way.

Sorry, but that is nothing but a pipe dream. I have no idea where people are getting the idea that Poti is such a hot commodity. I think that some fans desire to rid themselves of Poti is causing them to just include him into any trade offer and think that teams want him. Poti has a very low market. And certainly not to Florida. I cannot see Florida dropping 17 spots for just Poti and a lower first rounder.

We don't want Poti we already stated that. You can keep Poti. Holik is another we don't want, which is what I have heard before. To be quite honest I dont think there is any one on the Rangers that would fit into the Cats style of play.

yeah but we only have 4 overpaid vets in holik, jagr, dunham and kasper

and we only have 1 soft d-man in poti

im pretty sure theyd be pretty interested in alot of our other guys, however for the first time, or possibly the first time ever, we actually have players other teams want that we wont trade

its nice not to see 10-12 names next to a list of overpaid players who are on the rangers

just sounds to me you think you're better then you are (your team that is) and only want to be offered something that is overpaying

we'll see on draft day
