Not sure whether it's sad it took two periods or it's sad this is something to celebrate.

He's been trying to play winger his whole career, but the teams he's played for have always had a surplus of wingers, and a defecit of d-men, so they slotted him at D. He comes to Anaheim, gets moved up to wing, and his confidence skyrockets.

Anaheim tv guys are very good. I'm watching the online feed and they are so objective. It's such a pleasure to listen to these guys as opposed to Greenlay or Terhar.

That may be, but theres nothing like cracking voices and random moments of excitement.

As long as Anaheim doesn't get shafted by something, Hayward (analyst) behaves and the broadcasting is good. Ahlers (PbP) is usually always doing a good job.

So they aren't always right, but they still are darn good.

They just made a comment about Clutterbuck and our forecheck going something like this:

"Remember how good Clutterbuck was in the first period? How many chances he had. He was unbelievable here in the first, but what has he done since? Richards has put the clamp down and told his team to not forecheck and just go for a counter attack from the neutral zone."

Pretty bad when the road team is skating circles around you in the last few minutes of their back-to-back.

Not at all, actually. We were even outshooting them, badly, for the first two.
