Habs outshot Preds 12-5. Now even at 21-21 for the game.

We could use a bag of pucks at the rate our stars are giving them away after each game.

I agree. Disappointed in his work ethic and poor decision making recently. Give yourself a shake! He's put up the points, but I really believe that's because Gionta and Plek have been playing so well together.

For once I just want to see the 2nd line pick up the slack....and that's on Gomez. The 1st line has played well the last several games...the 3rd and 4th lines get the odd goal....but where's the 2nd line in all this? You can't win in this league with no 2nd line.

That's the reason why:

Eller's icetime: 7:28

Makes total sense.
Gomez as been practically invisible for most of the season.. Gio was in a slump while playing with him and now AK46 is in a slump while on a line with him.. Both Gio and AK46 can only score when on a line with Pleks..

Yes I agree that a few of our top guys aren't pulling their weight tonight, but over all I believe we are getting a taste of our own medicine...great goaltending!! 21 shots on net. We are getting our chances. It ain't over.

I never want to see Lapierre on a scoring line again, he has done nothing to deserve that ice-time so far this year.

Great games from Eller and Price.

I knew this game would be very difficult

Not many peoplr bashed Price (there were a few). Most just preferred the way Halak was playing and the results we were getting with Halak in net (wins).

Yeah he's not looking too good this year, something's clearly off with his game.

It's time to consider putting Eller with Kostitsyn... Whomever plays with Gomez goes to hell it seems.

We aren't playing terrible, but we aren't doing the little things good either. That's often the difference in this type of match up. So help me god we drop an effort like this Saturday night against Toronto and I'll lay an egg.

Or it's time to drop both Gomez and Cammalleri this period and bring up Eller and Pouliot for a taste of top 6 action.

At this point I bet Kostitsyn would rather play with Pyatt and Boyd. Gomez is just butchering Kostitsyns next contract.

Yeah, Lapierre isn't doing anything good on that line either.

Hopefully Martin takes Lapierre off the Gomez line and Pyatt of the Eller line to generate a little more offense in the 3rd. The shift by Pouliot-Eller-Moen was very nice though I do not know who Nashville had out against them. Nashville's done a decent job neutralizing the Plekanec line (4 shots between the 3 players) and Rinne's been immense so it's time to cut the bench down and go with your more productive/talented players.

That works for me too...

Either way, Gomez has been awful tonight and Cammalleri hasn't been a whole lot better.

I'd go as far as saying Cammy has been the worst skater on the ice tonight, both teams included. Not to say Gomez hasn't been much better, but I'm real disappointed in Cammy. Hopefully he snipes a few in the third and we put this behind us.

I'd go with;

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Gionta
Pouliot - Eller - Kostitsyn
Pyatt - Halpern - Darche
Moen - Gomez - Lapierre
