If Detroit were on a cold streak right now we wouldn't have pulled it off. They should have put the whammy on us by starting their backup goalie.

Nope with Ozzie in net we wouldn't stand a chance against anyone, regardless of how solid our defense is, lol.

I paid to go see Osgood play the wild last year, no thanks.

Howard usually owns Minnesota. And by that I'm just talking about that Maine game in 2005 at Mariucci.

Lucky this, lucky that...that's how the wild have played all year so far. If anything the wild almost blew that game when they had it in the bag. They should have won that game and they eventually did

my three stars:
Burns--continues to show top 10 talent. Hits, joins the attack, plays good defense every game. hard to tell who looks more dominant on the ice between him and Koivu.

Zidlicky--has been solid all year. this game he looks like he's figured out exactly what his role is and is comfortable with it.

Schultz--never looks comfortable in the offensive zone but came through big time carrying the puck to the net and feeding Koivu the tying goal. Like Zid, Schultz looks infinitely more comfortable this year and it shows.

My Three Stars:

3rd Star: Koivu was a pest on Zets/Dats throughout most of the game. Kept him contained and thats all you can ask for

2nd Star: Burns played phenomenally and I know who's jersey I will be buying for myself for Xmas

1st Star: Theodore. Any one who doesn't have a man that stopped 40+ shots from all sides and played out of his mind isn't giving the guy credit. Excellent performance

Got home from work, and re-watched the whole game. Somehow we are finding ways to win, good goaltending really helps. I can't believe how we are winning these games. It's baffling to me, but Burns has been playing amazing and our goaltending tandem has to be the best in the league right now.

I can't be mad with wins, but we need to stop being outshot if we want to win I would think...this trend just simply can't continue.

I would have to agree with you. I don't know what it is honestly....he is playing like he should be in the talks for Norris this year if he keeps it up. He is breaking up plays from opposing teams (he was the reason Helms didn't get a clean breakaway short handed), hitting cleanly, great shot, and is just all over the place.
