That was a fast trap period.

Minnesota 1
Detroit 0
END 1

Nystrom snakebitten again. Detroit announcers said if wild got that goal this game was going to be locked down.

There's that road Columbus Jody Shelley jersey again. I saw it the last time I watched a game that was at the Joe, and it wasn't a Blue Jackets game either.

"Bertuzzi can hurt you offensively." How about Bertuzzi can hurt you physically because he'll jump you from behind, break your neck and end your career? Ha. Wait. Too soon?

All this time spent arguing wild don't play the trap, and they announcers clearly pointed it out that they do...damn

i really wasn't expecting us to look this good.

Detroit is awesome. their fans are well-versed in hockey, collectively have a decent sense of humor, and are really all quite attractive people.

I was just in Detroit. It's not that awesome. In fact, it's fairly depressing.

Wild defense and goaltending are again solid so far and the offense are getting some chances. Great first period on the road!

[trolling]

I can't believe our play right now either, except for a few extended times in our zone. But we still prevailed.

Despite being suspended two games, Burns leads all defensemen in goals. Now that's an all-star player!

So I see Wellman and Havlat assisted on Burns' goal. Are they linemates today (Wellman and Marty) or was that just in the middle of a line change?

Burns scored on the end of a powerplay.

Why was Zids in the all-star ballot and not Burns?

Hopefully I'm not trolling the NHL with this post

Is anyone else starting to get extremely frustrated with Brunette?

I like him cause hes a fun guy who does a lot of nice media things, but I will start hating him by the end of the year because it takes him forever to move 5ft and we keep getting stuck in our own zone because of it.

dude, i'm reverse trolling to build up karma.

last time i was in detroit i was at a gas station where someone had just been "Piped". friendly janitor though...he stepped away from mopping up the blood on the floor so i could use the urinal...which also had blood in it. there was a tooth on the sink. and oh, i'm pretty sure a patch of road there messed up my cv joint.

I like him when we already have sustained pressure in their zone and he doesn't have to skate.

Seems like that hasn't happened as much as I remember it the past few years.

Burns can play his way to the all-star game if he keeps this up, I doubt Zids will make it anyways ballot or no ballot

that first line looks like a solid third line, actually. they don't even look like they're trying to score.
none of them.
we need to separate Mikko from his boyfriend and put someone with energy up there.

I think they make them up before the season starts.

Fair enough. Ann Arbor on the other hand is very nice.

Man, we're good at scoring from behind the goal line.
